DAT FRONT 11 Not really outside the fullbacks and the front 3 there was nothing truly drooling about the rest of them.... thier defence and midfield is probably better now. Obviously the front 3 and fullbacks were much better its not even close but rest of them at that time were nothing special. Edmilson, Kleberson, Roque Junior were all average tbh and Lucio and Silva were nowhere near their best level at that time. Silva won a move to title winning Arsenal after that tournament

It's really strange that they don't seem to have any genuine world beaters amongs them anymore tbh. They would have 4-5 of the best players in the world in there side at any given time less than a decade ago, seemingly somewhere between 2003 & 2006 though they have declined massively. Massive shame imo.

Villa have potential tbf, as good as a job he's done with Nowrich I really cannot see them becoming more than lower half regulars at best, players will always be on the move if the perform well where as the chance for stability with Villa is much higher. No reason at all Villa cannot be a decent side again imo, they just need a good manager and a plan.

I don't think they are, they have a decent squad with a few exceptional players. The same as England really.

That's sort of the point though, i'm not expecting Belgium to win, but it's certainly a possibility and at those odds it's worth the gamble. Even more so as it's a friendly, and a one which they will be up for imo.

They arguably have a better squad and manager, especialy with Rooney & Lampard looking out of it, other than home advantage it just seems absurd that the odds are that high.
