  1. Said it in the other thread, but I really don't get the whole "If Fergie cannot sort 'em out then no-one can". I'd argue that Pardew is possibly a far better man-manager for younger 'troubled' footballers* due to his more chilled personality. *Exclude Ranger as the guy has a mental age of about 13.
  2. He's defintely doing it for a laugh . A 31 point swing between us and Wolves Look how big the gap is between us and West Brom too.
  3. If it's THAT bad then clearly we will be legally bound to know what it is if we were to sign him, and therefore wouldn't.
  4. I will never complain about our domestic cup highlights ever again.
  5. He would get a fair few league appearances till the end of the season I would imagine, and even more next season. He would also feature pretty prominently in the cups. He's getting nothing at Manchester, I don't think many kids do. EDIT: I'm guessing this anyway if we've made a bid.
  6. It may not be a "bargain" but it's not a bad price. Still fucking devastating if he's the only signing your club has made in about 2 year or something (according to that site)
  7. Neil probably won't be posting for a good week or two as he goes on some mental drug binge. Exciting times for Everton man.
  8. I hate to use Ranger as an example but thats what he said about getting away from friends in London, he hasn't changed a bit as we've seen, mind you they said the same about getting Woodgate away from bad influences in Smoggieland, the Leeds incident aside he's been a good boy. Ranger isn't who he is because he 'hung about with the wrong crowd', he's just a fucking child. I've stuck up for him in the past but it's become increasingly more clear that the guy is just an immature nob and always will be.

  10. Go for free at the end of the season apparently Doesn't really answer the underlying question mind. ? Why aren't they pulling out all the stops to keep him? From what i've gathered his attitude is shite and the player himself actually wants to leave. I think that's more the catalyst for why they are looking to sell him though, not the decider for how much.

  12. Regarding Vuckic and Abeid, one is looking like he'll probably be moulded into a forward and the other a defensive midfielder. We don't even know where Morrison's best position is yet, but I don't think it's a DM or a forward.

  14. Certainly worth a punt if he's as good as they say. I would actually say we'd be fucking daft not to take him tbh, the risk is very, very low, unless him and Ranger end up slaughtering our whole squad of something.
  15. Why is Fergie known as some sort of excellent man manager of young talent anyway? It's always been said "If Gazza went to Man U Fergie would have sorted him out", "If Fergie cannot sort him out no one can" etc. Is there actually any basis behind this at all other than the team he manages? (He played a huge part in getting them where they were, granted). He seems like a fucking psycho in all honesty.
  16. Not many. Made pretty big f*** ups with Piqué and Rossi though, didn't he? They even clearly had ability before they left. Who's to say this isn't one of those examples (rather than the likes of Gibson who's never shown any ability) Absolutely nothing to do with him not being able to 'control' them. So who has left who he couldn't control? Why are you asking me? I can't think of any, as I've suggested. Fuck know what i'm reading man.

  18. Not many. Made pretty big fuck ups with Piqué and Rossi though, didn't he? They even clearly had ability before they left. Who's to say this isn't one of those examples (rather than the likes of Gibson who's never shown any ability) Even with the likes of Obertan we had the Man U fans telling us he was pure shite.
  19. Getting out of Manchester MAY help like. Fuck knows, he's only 18 though, hopefully he'll grow up within the next couple of years and not just continue on like a spoilt little gay into his 20s (i.e Ranger).
  20. A 37 year old Paul Scholes would walk into our squad though tbh.
  21. Do you genuinely believe it's that easy? FWIW Morrison is supposed to be shit hot, like very very highly rated.
  22. It's pretty clear Mike doesn't factor one transfer into the next, we don't spend any where near enough for this to even begin to be the case. If there is a chance of a profit we'll sign them and Morrison falls into this category. We won't sign a CB,DM,RW,RB/LB or a ST if we cannot get them young and for a cut down price. I didnt mean all at once, i was saying those of the area's of the squad that should be strengthened before any other, Morrison ignoring his attitude issues is an AM and its not like we dont have a few of those already..... Signing morrison wouldn't effect our other targets though (if we have any). It would just be an extra luxury which is why I cannot see why any fan would be unhappy about it. If he turns out to be a cunt then fair enough, deal with him and get rid, we havn't lost out.
  23. Notice he didn't call his team mate by his first name like, just "Johnson". Racist.
