Loved this bit... Any proposed new deal for Newcastle will now be matched against similar deals by similar-sized clubs. So for example, a shirt sponsorship deal or stadium naming rights deal would have to be of a similar level to those paid to the likes of Everton, Aston Villa or Leeds United. So in other words, you can't have sonship deals the same size as the big 6 as its threatening to them.

Isn't fair market value the value of the highest sonship deal +10%? I'm sure I read that somewhere, not sure how true it is. So if the most valuable sponsorship is 100 million per season, that means we can have a sponsor that pays us 110 million a year!

After that performance yesterday and the sheer lack of quality in our squad I just fail to see what on earth we do in our next 2 fixtures to even just keep the score to below 4 or 5. People can talk about formations and personnel all they want, it really doesn't matter in my eyes.

Exactly what I was coming on to say. This squad is shite and a lack of investment over years and years has finally caught up with us. It's not the players fault or howes or the new ownerships fault, it's just the situation we find ourselves in. I think we're down as I think we'll be to far adrift in January to make any difference.
