Funny as fuck that these just lost 3-1 at home and absolutely no one gives a fuck.
  2. There's a few people mentioning it in the Bruce thread. Apparently it was on SSN earlier this afternoon. I've not seen it mind.
  3. Same old shite from Sky pundits. Ignore them.
  4. Wonder why he decided to step down now in respect of QPR when it's all quiet and not 6 months ago when it was everywhere?
  5. Just prepare yourself for this to mean absolutely nothing just like all the other things we thought meant something positive for the takeover and ended up being nowt.
  6. My theory is the PL are dragging it out as long as possible in hope it still goes away. They don’t want to approve it. It’ll get to xmas and near the window, we’ll be hanging around the bottom and with no sight of any movement from the PL the buyers finally call time. Ashley will sue the PL in 2021 and win, but they’d rather go through that and lose money than upset so many other parties. That’s possible and obviously our worse case scenario. We have to hope a potential legal settlement of 300 million plus is what pushes it over the line. This was Liam Kennedy’s take on a certain someone’s show last night. He said: “I wish I could tell everybody everything I know, but you can’t do that in these situations. “Things are ticking away. The legal cogs are turning, and things are happening. “That doesn’t mean we are all going to get the result that we want at the end, but it’s a positive in itself that everybody is still at the table. “Everybody [who] is part of the consortium, the legal team [and] other legal bodies [are there]. “Everybody is there, and they’re talking; the Premier League, Newcastle United, and Mike Ashley [and] Justin Barnes. “Everybody is there, and things are moving; I want to give more, but I can’t, unfortunately.” When he says we might not get the result we want at the end, I honestly think he was talking about them being forced to reject it. That obviously is not the result we'd want but at least it would be open to appeal. Not sure we have to remember that the club has effectively declared the bid rejected on constructive grounds. An official rejection then.

  8. Don't know why you missed out that last line. He really said that last bit?
  9. I wonder how long he thinks it's going to take before we see this fantastic football he reckons he can deliver.
  10. Same here. I really couldn't give two shits about what Saudi Arabia have done or are doing. It is not the problem of a football fan to deal with. I'm just interested in my team being watchable again. Call me awful and horrible for this, I dont care about that either.
  11. So basically this is just a reformed champions league if no one is going to leave their domestic leagues.
  12. So if this goes ahead surely that is the end of the champions league? So what is the point?
  13. Attention seekers. They're everywhere. Just stick him on the ignore list. I did back in May, works a treat. Dont really understand how people complain about him when there is an ignore list.
  14. I think gutted is the word you're looking for because I know I was when it went tits up.
  15. Hope you're right Mimms. Hoping your not stringing people along (not suggesting you are) as this whole takeover saga has wounded me. From the euphoria if thinking we're going to be the richest club in the world to the crushing realisation that we're stuck with Ashley. Fingers crossed anyway.
  16. I dont even get angry at Bruce. He's a shit manager, we knew that when he came here, always has been always will be. If we get shot of him the next manager will be of similar shitness. Mike Ashley is the 1 who employs the likes of Bruce and Charnley. He is the one responsible for ALL of our problems. Until he goes we will remain an utterly pointless club which is why I fucking pray, Nick Di Marco sorts this takeover out. Will he? I have no idea but I cling onto the hope as it's all we have left as Newcastle fans.

    Jeff Hendrick

Jack Colback mk2. Free transfer for a below average midfielder. A proper Ashley signing.
  18. Pickford the lucky dodgy bastard.
  19. I'll be in my local watching it on a firestick. Fuck the greedy corrupt cunts.
