Well when you consider there's 24 teams in the league and you have 19 games left to play, it really isn't a big deal that we have to play the top 14 though is it. It's not like we have 6 games left and have 6 of the top 7 to play or summit. -
Yes it was. He should be banned for 5 games for them appealing that. Having said that, he's absolute gash so losing him is hardly going to hurt them. Him playing is actually better.
-
Apparently van Aanholt openly stated he didn't want to play for them anymore. Just been mentioned on SSN.
-
£14M for van Aanholt. Nee wonder nee fucker buys anyone in January anymore.
-
Deffo Rob Lee. Shame he couldn't play like Rob Lee.

Another cheesy Sky phrase. Cringeworthy twats.

Based on what. We've been in the top 2 since about September, we're 9 points clear of 3rd we have players coming back from injury very soon and by the start of next month we'll have 3 players returning from the African cup of nations. I really do wonder what some of our supporters have been watching this season. Are you seriously trying to say that the side has looked convincing without Shelvey...? If so, its you who must have been watching something different to most of us. Just because we are second in the table - on the back of an unbeaten run which happened earlier in the season - in NO way means we are guaranteed to stay there - especially if we lose players like Shelvey or Gayle. Yes, we beat a Rotherham side without Gayle but they are certainties for relegation and we struggled for the first 45 minutes to create any meaningful chances and could have gone in a goal behind. Ever since Shelvey has been out of the side(and sometimes even with him in it)we have struggled and lost more games than most promotion sides ever do. Brighton show no signs of falling away and neither do Reading...both won earlier this week and teams like Leeds are going to keep plugging away because they know if we falter they have a chance. Until we start playing convincing, winning football at SJP - and against better teams than Rotherham - I will retain my opinion that the jury would be out on automatic promotion if we fail to strengthen the positions we need to and lose vital players. Jesus. Stop trying to put words in my mouth. I was simply pointing out facts to you. Of course there is no guarantees but it would take a huge fuck up on our part to not get promoted. Try and enjoy the season pal.

I haven't seen it but it definitely wasn't a pen.

Definitely. Its set to get colder from tomorrow night into the weekend.
-
I just accept it in my mind now that Brighton will win whatever game they play.

It's a question of getting your priorities right mate It's only football man. I've got a feeling we'll be hearing a lot of this 'its only football' when they go down Completely forgetting the way they went on with us last summer The Championship will become a good league as well. Not shit like it is this season.

Look at his tit's. They really are the fucken bumhole of the Premier league like.

Where? Not what I've seen and heard. They think he's utter s****. https://thejack.army/threads/barrow-for-ayew.13188/ Have you read that? So maybe two of them think he's fast and has potential. That's basically a lie, I've just read that thread.

We love monitoring.
-
Why? Because of the next sentence, basically. Maybe he'll come in and feature a lot but it sounds like he's an erratic type that needs a bit of refinement so I doubt Rafa will throw him in the team any time soon. But even if we bought him outright he might hardly feature. Can't see him starting more games than Ritchie so I don't see the problem in a loan. I don't find the loan deal odd.
-
This^. People were livid when we signed Clark and Murphy and now look at them. People need to learn to trust Rafa.

Seem the Express has picked up on this now (from Sky Sports Transfer Centre)... "Newcastle have reportedly asked Dynamo Zagreb about Ante Coric and Filip Benkovic as part of a transfer push that could see the Magpies spend £35m before deadline day." The mackems would have the financial fair play rule book out and there'd be letters and emails flying the F.A's way.
