My favourite game last season. I hope the Mackem gets his rave on again. If he does, presumably VAR will know the rules and send him off.

I went to bed at half-time since it was game over, but I think this one was lost on momentum and carelessness. Their goal came pretty much from nothing, was a keeping error, and swung the momentum in their favour. Another 10 minutes of holding out and we'd have frustrated them. The second could be foreseen about two passes earlier and should have had Brewcie shouting at them to get rid. It was still an obvious gift to them. The third was an easy blow with us already on the ropes. Since we weren't being outplayed and had still created the best two chances when the score was 2-1 to them, I wouldn't accuse our tactics. We just made some bad errors and handed the game to them. Our hand is so limited that getting back into a game in that situation is out of the question.
