Ashley doesn't do anything unless he can gain from it and I can't see where he would gain from sacking a manager liked by the fans who is doing well right before the single most important game of the season. So I think it's nonsense.

I'm glad someone else noticed this! Whenever I brought up the seemingly every game match winning sitters he managed to bollock up I was fed the same old rhetoric of 'best finisher we have'. Was he bollocks, Obafemi was a better finisher than him and that was saying something.

I think we all know the best African playing in that game is going to be Cheickmate.

And er, by Danish, I mean Norwegian. He's an attacking mid I think similar to benny arfa, had some decent clubs tracking him down the years but he's a massive toon fan and keeps on dropping hints in the media etc that he wants the move.

I'd like to see us go for that danish lad Skelbred, he's basically been pining for a move here for the last 2 years hasn't he and hes canny highly rated.

I think Routledge, at the very least, causes massive problems for the other team purely by virtue of being a mad bugger that runs at full pelt after every ball, no matter how hopeless it may seem.

Ryan Taylor's not an "alright defender". I just think he's a bit more reliable than Perch, and reliable is what we currently need now rather than 'Look he's crossed the half way line lets go and kick him in the face'.

To be honest I think it's been a problem position ever since Habib foolishly thought the grass was greener.

I certainly don't. The lad gets more cards than Jessica Alba on valentines day. I'd rather see Ryan Taylor playing there, he's an alright defender and he can take some of the set pieces (although Barton has been pleasantly surprising with some of his deliveries this season for me).
