Q5 But isn’t there a good chance of sampling error in a poll of 1,000 people? A5 Yes there is. Mathematical and statistical theories prove that, in a random poll of 1,000, 19 times out of 20 a poll will be accurate to within 3 per cent. But this does leave the one in 20 chance of the result being outside this margin of error – hence opinion polling is accepted as an inexact science, and it is sensible to weigh up the results of several different polls when calculating the most likely outcome. This was about a poll about the opinion of one nation. Not saying this counts for the football poll, but I don't think it's "laughable" to take something out of it.

Love how they fitted us in at a random 13th place.

http://www.talksport.co.uk/magazine/big-picture/2011-10-13/worlds-most-popular-football-club-revealed-man-united-liverpool-arsenal-barca-real-or-chelsea?p= "Newcastle the 13th most supported side in the world." Liverpool might think they have a big enough worldwide fanbase to secure their own TV rights, but the findings of a leading sports market research company suggest they're not even in the top five most supported clubs around the globe. Research by Germany company SPORT+MARKT has revealed an estimation of how many supporters each club has around the world. A sample of 1,000 people from 34 countries has revealed the top 13 football teams with the most fans.

Reckon he's playing. Who reckons that? Me, myself and I. Just because it is Harry. And because it would be very fortunate for us. Really hoping he won't.

He [David Whelan] added, “What we have is the finest league in the whole world and what Liverpool are calling for would absolutely wreck it. The likes of Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves, Sunderland and Newcastle couldn’t compete." There's quite a few other names he could/should name before us...

Straight in from where? That was his 3rd straight game for Inter and has no relevance to this considering its his fitness thats the main issue here. I don't see the fitness being any problem tbh. He has played a couple of u21 games of late, and would assume he's ready to step in. If he's fit, which he seems to be, he should play.
-
He went straight into a Champions League game vs. Manchester United and did great. If he should struggle this time around, well, he wouldn't be much different from our current "left back". Santon should definitely start.

Really don't understand all the criticism of Parker. He is by no means a world beater, but he is a very solid midfielder.

Tbf, they were the better team. At least in the first half. But fucking hell, this dominated/battered/murdered stuff is ridiculous.

From Sunderlandecho - "For the West Brom game, we looked to push him forward into a more orthodox position so that not everything had to go through him, and he looked far more comfortable and far more like his natural self in that role.” Sunderland will go into Sunday’s match at Arsenal considering using Sessegnon as a lone striker, with on-loan Gunners forward Nicklas Bendtner unable to play against his parent club. Make it happen Brucie

Used it as training for the Spurs match. Took it easy.

And my hatred for Liverpool grows.

Seen a lot of critizism of him today (especially before the cross). Seems to be the consensus that he is the weak link in the team. Watched him quite a few times myself and he did alright, but mainly because PSV dominated the games. Got found out a couple of times defensively by speedy players. Not sure if he's solid enough defending tbh.

Been really poor in general according to people on Twitter. I don´t know, just a beauty of corss. It´s hard to multi-watch games and still special study a player I know I know, just saying The Dutch really doesn't seem to rate him at all like. "Weak link".

Why? Just as he could be brilliant he could turn out to be totally f***ing useless for us. If there wasnt a risk he wouldn't have joined us in the first place. He is brilliant, and won't be useless. He's already shown what he can do.

Think I would start with Ba and Best. We should definitely be looking to get in Ben Arfa at some stage though (and not Løvenkrands). And I agree with Ketsbaia - strengthen when it's going well. Santon in.

Valon Berisha (from my local team) just grabbed one back for Norway after Henderson and Craig Dawson made it 2-0 England. Norway been the much better team so far.

Would be a quality signing. Don't think the Lille supporters would be particularly happy if we ended up with both Cabaye and Debuchy.

Linked to Borriello in a deal worth £9.5m. Not gonna happen.
