  1. Santon is pure quality going forward. Great speed. Should've had an assist just now.
  2. By pointing out he plays as a right back in this match? Kadar is also playing btw. Just tackled Santon pretty rough and received a yellow card.
  3. That depends on how you calculate the expenses. If we include agent fees, salaries during the contract period and sign on fees, we've used all the money. And a very, very important factor is that we used some of those money to tie down Tiote for 6,5 years. You're so emotionally tied to Carroll that you have difficulties to see what we've bought/secured for the future with the money we sold him for: *Tiote *Cabaye *Ba *Maveraux In sum, those players are of course much better than Carroll. And we have REPLACED Carroll if we're talking about getting in a similar player (Ba), but if you're yearning for a marquee signing, we have not succeeded. Personally, I think it's important to consider many aspects: I don't want us to use too much, he must be fast and have a good engine, and he must fit into the squad. Urgh.
  4. Who cares If they answer them, we'll know.
  5. Well he doesn't. So lay off the sexy bastard.
  6. A Nile over those things any day.
  7. Sig-worthy. We spend 12 million quid in transfers plus a shitload more in wages

    Just let it be, man.

  11. Good thread. Don't care about the haters. Anyway, Kadar? He's very average, man.
  12. Carroll's not the example you're looking for. If there's any lesson there, it's don't let a club screw you for huge amounts of money on the last day of the transfer window, and end up with a player who struggles to make your first team.

    Sunderland...

Think he's denied a move to Turkey himself. For what that's worth.. Gyan is also injured so I reckon it's because of that he's doubtful for the Brazil game.
  14. Always rated him higher than Williamson. Glad he's finally showing what he's capable of again.

Shocking list. Saying that, I rate Jones more than Ba. Why? Ba has a way better scoring record. Would have had Ba 10 out of 10 times myself.

COLIN KAZIM-RICHARDS NICKY SHOREY PAUL KONCHESKY PETER CROUCH FEDERICO MACHEDA KENWYNE JONES Fucking glad that Pardew isn't the one who takes all the transfer decisions. Absolutely rubbish players. Worrying stuff.

Happy we didn't get Roux... I read something about a french scout who said he was a decent player, although he was doubtful as to whether he would fit the PL, comparing him to Chamakh who clearly were the more talented player and still didnt make it :\ Completely different players. If he was merely comparing them because they both come from Ligue 1, that's disastrous. And I really can't see Chamakh being the more talented. Most Ligue 1 people thinks Roux is a bit raw, but extremely talented. One (James Eastham) is adamant he is destined for the national team.
