  1. The f*** I do. I "rule out" players because they're probably not coming. Simple. You can speculate all you want, he is not the type of player we are looking for. A striker who scores goals, we don't want those types in these parts. A nippy, speedy striker is what we're reportedly looking for.
  2. The fuck I do. I "rule out" players because they're probably not coming. Simple. You can speculate all you want, he is not the type of player we are looking for.
  3. He's not coming here, and thank God for that.
  4. Can't believe how highly they rate Larsson. In general, like.
  5. From the Mirror - Tottenham are ready to sign the 'new Didier Drogba' - Ivory Coast's sensational teenage striker Souleymane Coulibaly. Spurs supremo Daniel Levy has teed up a stunning £2 million deal for Coulibaly, who has scored nine goals in just four games at the mini World Cup in Mexico. Coulibaly - just 16 years and six months - bagged back-to-back hat-tricks, including some amazing strikes to get some of the game's giants stampeding for the young 'Elephant' hit man. The fantastic talent plays for AC Siena's youth team but he can be bought and Spurs are flying to Italy today in a bid to seal the deal ahead of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
  6. FanhousePercy John Percy #Stoke have agreed a £4.5m deal with #whufc for Carlton Cole, will be worth £6m on appearances. Not new news I know but a fact! Had to be Stoke.

    Mevlüt Erdinç

No. Schalke upped their bid today though.
  8. Probably rehash from some English-based rumours (I haven't seen yet). Dunno. From the link: Manchester City - as reported by Sky Sport 24 - has closed the deal with Arsenal for the acquisition of the playmaker Samir Nasri. Gunners will go to 25 million euros, while the player will sign a contract Pharaonic six million net per season.
  9. Sky Sport Italia: Arsenal and Man City agree £23m fee for Samir Nasri Wow.
  10. what was he responding to? One of those annoying fuckers going on about another fucker, Cwarr, and his statements.

    Mevlüt Erdinç

Douglas said our backup option for Erdinc was a continental-based striker.
  12. Douglas - Funny cos someone I know has been talking to Kenneth & they told me Villa... Seems like Villa definitely have made a bid like.

    Mevlüt Erdinç

MsiDouglas Mark Douglas Tomorrow in the Journal. A pretty definitive Erdinç update after a good chat w/ someone v.close to the deal #NUFC
  14. Will definitely be too expensive.
  15. Joey7Barton Joseph Barton I'm happy for Colo and it's probably the correct decision given my precarious contract situation, gives stability. I'll be a leader without Joey7Barton Joseph Barton an armband and I'll be there for Colo as well as all the lads regardless, selfishly it let's me concentrate on playing well every week #NUFC Good words from Joey.

    La Liga - 10/11

Yes. Why is it funny? Funny because it's true. Surely.
  17. To save money of course and in the same time to imitate some transfer action... How would it save money? In the form of not paying any money [if a straight swap as suggested], attracting a player and releasing one. Thus, no transfer fee, offsetting wages and showing the fans that they are working on new recruits. Outcome: Same numbers, no outlay. So they can say that they've attracted a new body, but in fact it's a freebie [sort of]. Most probably, Rout's wages are higher than these of McWhatever guy. But if the swap means that we've got a better squad, then we've moved forward. That's the important issue. Do you want Ashley to spend money just to prove that he's willing to do so? What a s*** question, honestly. Seen it many times - and it's obviously not about that. We have every opportunity to spend big and get our self some proper quality players now. It's not about spending money. It's about us needing to spend to get the really quality ones.

    Sunderland...

Actually, I don't think he thinks of it like that. He really seems to mean what he says.

    Sunderland...

O'Shea has gone from being underrated to be massively overrated. He is not shit, and he's not quality. He's just average. As well as being overpaid (assumingly) and old. Wouldn't have him, slight upgrade on Simpson or not.
