  1. Victorien Angban, born in 1996. Looks a real prospect. Owning the midfield. 2-0 Ivory Coast btw.
  2. Ivory Coast really dominating at the moment.
  3. Hopefully they'll go all in for Baines.

Definitely. Just pointed out Gibson as they just bought Gardner, and that we seemingly are after him.

paulfraserecho Paul Fraser #safc are also still in the hunt for Gibson, Brown and OShea. Nothing imminent on those tho. Still talking to ManU. Glad they're still in for Gibson.
  6. Have I missed something?, what's happened to suggest we aren't? Chronicle today: The Toon boss is still in the hunt for a left-sided player and a striker, and revealed to the Chronicle today that he is expecting at least one more new face to be on the plane for the Magpies’ trip to the United States. As it stands, Newcastle – who are still trying to add Swansea City star Neil Taylor to their ranks – could field a team packed with potential if everyone stays fit. Pardew - “The squad is looking healthy and, hopefully, there are still one or two to come. “They won’t be in before July 4, but we hope to get one in before the tour of America – and there could well be one after the tour.”

  8. Bollocks. What a stupid thing to say. Of course it is, his record spunks all over Gyan's but if we were to sign him for £13 million people would be over the moon. Give over. Seriously...

  10. I really don't think neither of Erding or Long are getting a hard time here. Long has had one good (great) season in the Championship, and Erdinc just came from a poor season. They're not exactly Gameiro. Nothing wrong with being scepctial. Not to bring the Carroll money in the picture...
  11. Neil Taylor and Mevlut Erdinc - possible, probable and incredibly disappointing. If not Neil Taylor and Shane Long.
  12. Massimo Italiani, Cristian Zapata's representative in Italy, says that Zapata has chosen Villarreal in front of Juventus and Liverpool.
  13. So one or two new to come in in. Wonder if Neil Taylor is taken in to account? If so, I'd be massively disappointed. Unless the other is Sturridge. Which seems increasingly unlikely.
  14. If he's one (,the poorer) of two new strikers, then he'd be a good signing (if he'd not cost too much). If he's the only other striker we'll buy, then I'd be disappointed.

    Mevlüt Erdinç

Maybe he feels he's not ready to move just yet. He will be a regular in one of France's biggest and most ambitious clubs, earning top money. He'll end up in a top Champions League side sooner or later anyway.

Scottwilsonecho Scott Wilson Also with #SAFC, Bruce has called off his pursuit of N'Zogbia. Unwilling to pay £65,000-a-week and the player wasn't budging.

The fuck it is. Whatever reason, he really did harrass our defenders.

Will this affect Sunderland's pursuit of N'gog? Scott Wilson - Yeah - won't happen now. So are they after a better striker, or are they happy with the current lot?
