  1. It's a needless risk/gamble at this present moment in time when things just worked out so well at Villa. This side should be given time to gel together.
  2. Newcastle 10/1 without the top 6, worth a few quid.
  3. His chance might come along soon, no need for little Pardew digs, things are looking up and that side worked on Saturday so let's see how it goes against Hull.
  4. Best performance for god knows how long on the weekend. The next home is absolutely the right time to 'try something a bit different'.

The problem is some time down the road those of us who aren't in the "Pardew must die" camp will get tarred with the stuff Brett has been spouting on here. Ah knah, that's what I'm worried about. Chill, i've got this lads

It could have been Man Utd or Crystal Palace for me, the team was irrelevant, it was the fact we backed up that 15 minute period against Fulham when our strongest team give us a glimpse of what they can do, then Pardew went all in with it against Villa and they produced a lovely counter attacking display. Suddenly we looked like a top team again after a long time of misery and it's looking likely to stay if these can stay fit as it's a very talented group we have amongst our ranks. Just imagine what we could do with a decent manager. If only....but Pardew will do for now whilst Ashley is here. All for given him the boot when new owners arrive.

Brett's gone all-in on our asses. I might have overstepped my bounds but i'm ultra confident that this side and Pardew will get it right and i've said top 8 from the start. Simply cannot wait now for Hull at home to really see if we can back up Saturday's performance with another 3 points. However my ultra confidence and top 8 is also tied in with HBA avoiding any long term injury i may add.

I've said it already, but lads like Brett, who've taken a bit of a battering, are dying to throw things back in people's faces. Now is not the right time to even be attempting that. It's very early days. Giz a break man, i'm enjoying my moment, might only last a week It's not your moment, man. You look f***ing stupid, and will look even worse if it all goes to s*** again. Just enjoy it, and hope it lasts. Keep doubting lad, keep doubting, more people pretend to themselves this is a one off, the more i will revel in our future success. Not even sure Saturday's win would have felt as good without all you guys Doubt what, man? I'm one of the few who thought there was a remote possibility of him turning it round. You're spoiling it for the rest of us. I thought you were one of us Inochi, i really did, something has changed in you, you seem different, negative thoughts like 'all goes to s*** again', got to be positive in this game and i'm the happiest i've been in years, i just love everything about our current side, it excites the f*** out of me. Maybe i should try to control my excitement more on here but it's a bit of struggle when i realised on Saturday that everything i had been dreaming had just all came together and it's such a fantastic feeling right now. Christ Brett, bit early for a drink mate! I thought of Ben Arfa when i was brushing my teeth this morning and i had the biggest grin on my face i've ever seen looking in the mirror, crazy

Hey, i'm more than happy when people jump on board and get behind Pardew and the players, been a couple already today after a decent win, might be a couple more after next week as it's another game where there is a big chance of 3 points, slowly but surely, we will all come together for one big congratulations celebratory forum hug.

  15. 8/13 is still free money to be fair, i've got 100 at evens and 100 at 11/10. Felt good seeing the Bale heart celebration.

nah absolutely, i'm with him as long as he doesn't f*** this up now...however we got here we're here and he has an opportunity which i sincerely hope he takes it was inevitable but i'm more on his side now because him succeeding would stick it to ashley and kinnear which i would really like (as well as it meaning we'd succeed too, obviously) uncharted territory for pards isn't it, will this now be his second longest managerial job? he's certainly never been around this long in the PL Welcome aboard

oh ok then, as i'm an idiot perhaps you can enlighten me how everything has changed so suddenly then given that we have the same manager the same players (+ remy but he's barely played a full game total) the same coaching staff he talked about playing passing football last year yet we played the opposite, i personally attribute that to his playing certain people who consistently underperformed last year when all evidence said drop them combined with his tactical approach to be defensive and not lose games and playing people in the wrong place...the players were never suited for the style of football last year, it was so obvious man of course it's not as simple as just playing 11 players but perhaps it's as simple as being forced to play anita which imo has been the catalyst for us to realise we're able to pass the ball around short, keep possession and attack teams properly....this is the same anita he chose to overlook last season even when he was the only positive thing we had around the holiday period at the end of the day if he's getting credit for the last few games, he deserves everything that comes with how bad last season was look at it another way, vs. villa if he'd played cabaye in the anita role, cisse in the remy role and sissoko as a number 10 do you think we'd have performed as well? neither do i, it's the type of s*** he was pulling all last year though...playing players in the right place can make a massive difference man I banged on all summer how last year was just a total write off imo. Everything was going wrong for us and Pardew didn’t have the tactical knowledge or experience to stop the sour run and it just snowballed. He started the season with demands from Ba not playing on the wing, we were very effective with him out there and this was the catalyst to where it all went wrong, we never replicated that balance ever again. As soon as Remy signed I said on here that we will go straight back to that formation and look a far better side, that’s exactly what happened. People on here still doubted we would do that and insisted hoof ball was the future yet you could see over pre-season we were passing the ball a lot more around the back 4 then we have ever done and it was clear we were trying to implement this style of play. Pardew’s got his squad fully fit and majority have had full pre-seasons which has helped us massively. Surely it’s time to stop doubting and just get behind them now and actually come to terms with the fact we aren’t this relegation battling team from last season so many claimed we were?

this is exactly right, literally what was being said by a lot of us for over a season - that pardew was holding us back and was a massive cause of last season being terrible because he did everything wrong all he ever had to do was put them in the right places and let them play Pardew was a big part to blame for last season and made a lot of errors however you're an idiot if you think the solution was that simple.

The negativity has nothing to do with this weekend, I'm sure everybody is happy for a change. The hype following that performance is far too early and that shouldn't need pointing out but it clearly does. Yeah i can certainly see why the doubters don't want to get excited just yet, i'm pretty sure they will stand up soon though and start to take notice of what we actually have here.

Good one I fancy him to get a brace on Saturday, that's where my pennies will be going. Might even put a couple of quid on the hatty while i'm there.
  22. If he had of managed to turn that one in against West Ham, we would be level on points with the league leaders
