f*** off football forever if this happens tbh. Hasn't been able to strike the ball more than 5mph tonight. Mental how he lasted the full 90. Saw Watford play earlier in the season and Jurado looked good so surprised to see he had such a bad game last night according to people on here. Anyone who has seen them play regularly who knows if he's had a good season or not? He was pointed out off Carra after the game that he has no goals or assists this season. I've not seen much of him but he was awful last night, really bad.

Jurado

1-0 down with 5 minutes to go and Flores' only sub has been a straight right back swap. Taking the piss.

Was about to say that - everything he has touched had turned to s***. Crisp packet ankles too. aye, don't know how he's still on the pitch tbh. That Deeney is s*** too. One of the worst strikers I've seen for a while. Hasn't been good here but he's been having a good season, like.

Needs hauled off this Jurado for Watford, been piss poor.

Yep, they've certainly hit a poor patch of form. Haven't been the same since Man City robbed them late on when they looked in cruise control.

Well it was a great first 45 from Madrid, second half should be quickly forgot about. Be a blow to lose Bale, has been in terrific form.

You changing your mind again? f*** off Pardew's bitch! I'll take that as a yes

Think he's starting to make a few fans look a bit silly. We've found an absolute gem of a centre forward. Glad the fans showed him a lot affection at the end of the game when he came over to applaud. That's how we should be supporting our players. Helped he had a brilliant game, like.

That's far too sensible He hasn't rubbished the rumour obviously but he has come out publicly and backed him to be fair By saying they'll work with him behind the scenes. Suddenly he's picked up a knock so is missing the match, then he's highly linked with a move back to France. Top backing

I don't blame him for wanting to go back to France after what happened to him down at Watford. Probably laughed at our fans appealing for penalties when Colback fell over in the box on Tuesday night.

I hope he is a dickhead tbh, we haven't got enough of them in our side. Too nicey nice us bar Mitro.

Shouldn't have lasted as long as he did yesterday. That really showed our lack of options on the bench. Would have been great if we had Aarons fit last night, would have been perfect for him.
-
That's one part of his game that he's already mastered. Absolutely brilliant with the chest passing, links the play up so well with it.

aye, he demanded it as well. As much as I love him, I feared the worst for him when he basically refused to give the ball away then stepped up. Fair play though, that's what a striker should be doing. Calm and collected pen also which I least expected, was fully expecting a blaze over the bar tbh aye, I could barely watch it, but I like the fact he took responsibility Yeah, was class by him. Would have been so much easier for him to just shy away once he actually won the pen. Proved even after the criticism he's come under and his missed chances, he's not let that damage his confidence. Great for such a young player.

I said to my mate beside me when he stepped up that if he misses this, his career with Newcastle is over. Fans would pounce on him. Thankfully he was as cool as a cucumber until it went in then he went passionately nuts! Great scenes!

They are always shite, bar Spurs. Thought that game was ideal for Marv at some point. Can see why he didn't fancy De Jong, was far too quick and he takes time to warm into a game. I never like him off the bench anyways. Don't mind him having confidence in Toney but it was like he wasn't sure what his actual role was or where he was playing. Just go on and run around a lot seemed to be the instruction.

In what was an incredible game, he still managed to look utterly shit, well done Jack and good riddance.
