  1. Not sure if this is a joke or not
  2. Both back in full training but not being risked apparently.
  3. I agree with mojo here, central midfield is where the biggest problem lies. They have no spine to their side. I'd be looking to sign a CB and CM before venturing out for a winger. They haven't even bothered with giving a Zaha a chance yet. After the Chelski game, Hoddle thought Man Utd needed a complete rebuild and need to sign 8-10 players. However i agree with Neville that i don't think things are that bad but they could do with 4 top signings to add to their first team as they still have a lot of good players who are just struggling at the moment and fresh blood would give them a lift.
  4. OK. I like West Ham, don't really mind if they stay up or not. Allardyce is a prick and so are the owners but I'd sooner have them in the league than Hull, Wigan, etc. I'd normally agree. Not that I particularly like West Ham but they're a better football club than those you mentioned but the fact Sam Allardyce is in charge of them they are only second to the Mackems this season who I want relegated.
  5. Erm, he used to be in charge of us. And we got rid sharpish before he managed to shame us with this kind of embarrassment. We got off lightly for the damage he can actually do.
  6. Like I give a shit if their owners are robbing cunts, hope they take this 8-0 plus aggregate score and then fuck off to the championship. Deserves them right for having that fat bastard in charge of their side
  7. Just gets funnier knowing how much these cockney cunts have paid to watch this
  8. If you take Barry, you don't take Carrick, but for me i'd have Carrick all day along ahead of Barry. Not that i rate either of them but you've got to have one because we simply have nobody else for that position. Don't say the point in wasting two places on them both, would very negative and short sighted.
  9. It helps when a club can actively seek someone from around the world to replace their 35 year old midfielder. Roy Hodgson unfortunately only has a selected pool of players to choose from in which Lampard is still high on the list, and rightly so as even at 35, he's still better than the majority.
  10. You're not wrong either, christ he's made that hard work as well

I thought it was a bit strange you questioned where i was coming from Seemingly, aye. Still hasn't even realised himself how it can come across to the others

Where? You're joking, right? Could you imagine someone pointing out 'Where is Shearer' in a Shearer family photo? There's now way you can't not pick out Shola in that photo, unless you simply have no idea who Shola is

The racism that pops up on this board from time to time is mental, like
  14. You seem to be dismissing everyone. We do have to take players, CD? We all know England's chances are very bleak and options are limited with not much class around but we have to take a group. I'm interested in your pool of midfielders now your sticking up for Barry but dismissing Henderson/Lampard etc.
  15. I'd only take Carrick for that role though? Gerrard/Henderson could both cover for Carrick were he to get injured. Barry shouldn't be recalled and it's pathetic if he does. I can deal with Lampard being taken as i know he was at least once world class and offers a lot of valuable experience and has scored goals at that level even if the team itself has failed. Barry has just mustered up shit on the international stage and like I say, those two goals he gave away against Germany were just simply embarrassing.
  16. Totally agree with his, his vision and execution for the pass is what has most impressed me this season. That flick for Sturridge last week was top draw stuff. Full of confidence and in the form of his career. At 23 surely this is the way we should be looking at things, not a 32 year old who has recently got his career back on track. It's competitive for a spot as a winger in the squad from now till June as well. None of them have really stamped their ground on a position. Walcott now injured, Townsend out the picture at Spurs, Lallana still in good form, Lennon playing well, Sterling improving game by game, Ox on return from injury, Young back in the Man Utd team and just playing for Man Utd always boosts your credentials a ton fold. There’s not really much between them.
  17. This is the wrong way to look at it. We should look at what players can offer vs. their limitations rather than just looking at past failures. Lampard and co. where all a part of the midfield that were out passed, out ran, out-thought in that game. If it were up to me, only 1 of those old midfielders would've got any caps after that tournament. But as we've played lads that have gone to 3/4/5 major tournaments and disappointed (Gerrard & Lampard), nobody else should be excluded based on past performances. Lampard also scored the 'goal' and hit the bar. Gerrard got the assist in that game. Barry fell over the ball and cost us the 3rd goal then trotted beside Ozil and kind of put a tackle in if you can call it that but merely just bottled it and they scored the 4th. Yes Germany were the far better side in that game and we can count ourselves lucky to be in that game for such a long period but that's what i remember in that game of those 3 and Barry came off by far the worst.
  18. I've never rated Barry, i've never rated Henderson but Henderson over the last year is really winning me over. Especially over the last couple of month and i think he's one of the most improved players in the premiership now. Think he's gone a bit unnoticed by the media in Liverpool's recent form when Suarez/Sturridge takes the headlines but he's been the engine in the midfield. Starting to show the promise he did when at the mackems and under 21 captain. Really do believe he should be on the plane to brazil. If we hold him back for the likes of Gareth Barry then we are never going to get anywhere.
  19. I still can't forgive Barry for costing us Germany's 3rd and 4th goal at the World Cup. He's now 32 and although he's been in good form for Everton, no way should he be recalled. His chance should have been and gone. Not like he's some former world class midfielder, like a Lampard.
  20. Not sure what your point is here? You saying you wouldn't take Barkley/Henderson? We are hardly flushed with options. I'd take both of them over Barry but you seem to say in your next post that he's one of the better players in the division and should go. Obviously we all know this country hypes up players from a young age and very few manage to reach expectations. Nothing new there.
  21. When you consider the mackems attendence and they were charging 20 quid. Scandalous that by West Ham, must be saving up to sack the fat b******
  22. I'd say 40 million is probably fair in today's market. Arsenal signed Ozil for 40 but you've got to factor in Chelsea are selling to a rival in their league and Mata comes with a wealth of PL experience and proven class in the league. Beyond me why Moyes doesn't bid for Cabaye because he's exactly what they need, probably more so than Mata imo.
