Don't think it matters much honestly, we are finishing 8th or 9th regardless and he's going in the summer anyway if he doesn't go now. That's only positive we can take, it's basically just ruined our very slim chance of finishing top 6 and going to make top 8 a bit harder. No major damage done by the sale if it goes through. Awful to think we may never see him at St James' ever again :'(
-
Rather him tell it how it is then just brush it off like he'll be here for the rest of the season. Shame the board won't give him a helping hand and have a replacement ready for him. No doubt just be left to get on with what he's got.
-
My biggest worry is i can't see Newcastle going out and buying 5 or 6 players in the summer. Remy/Cabaye/Colo is basically the spine of the team so all them need replaced, squad players like Jonas/Obetan/Marv likely to move on, so you'll have to recruit there. We've got so many players where it looks inevitable they are leaving and i'm not sure we'll recruit quick enough to push on. We've usually just struggled to replace one key player efficiently, let alone 3 or 4. That’s just without the usual speculation of Cisse/Ben Arfa/Santon/Krul leaving and of course the retirement of Shola. Horrible to even think Kinnear will be over seeing all this.
-
Can't say i've seen too much of PSG this season but would Cabaye walk in the side or not? I'd be surprised if he doesn't but if he actually doesn't probably explains why they are making shite offers like 14 mil as they don't really want to pay 20 million ish for a squad player.

They've got no shame, like. Horrendous that account

He wasn't impressive, like. He was average at best, I had the f***er for top scorer...think he got 1. And that was with a wealth of talent giving him service! Saying all this, I'd still love it if we signed him, I just won't be betting on him again

Actually just reading back through this thread has made up for the jizzing...it's cool

Bastard!!!!! Seen this and jizzed!!! I want my fucking jizz back!

Crazy how certain people have just gave up this season already Good job the players didn't have that attitude against West Ham
-
That's the problem, we haven't got many promising kids...

I just prefer more of a Robbie Keane, obviously not in our side because i couldn't imagine many players filling Bellamy's boots. However it's two players who have gone around the clubs be it on loan or for hefty transfer fees. Always been a big admirer of Keane though, had the pace, good technical ability, could come deep, could poach, could stretch a defence. Think it's remarkable amount of goals he's got on the international stage as well.
-
For a similar type of career, i always preferred Robbie Keane over Bellamy, as controversial as that maybe. I think Keane had more about him.
-
Obviously he had other qualities, you can't just have pace and expect to have such an impact. His off the ball movement was top draw like you say but that fits in to why Shearer got so many goals as he took defenders away and made them focus on him.
-
That was the best thing i gave him credit for, but then a time came i wanted Shearer dropped and Kluivert put in with Bellamy instead. I never thought Bellamy was a great striker or one of the leagues best but in our side he was absolutley vital. His pace is what frightened defenders the most, not the fact he could score from anywhere or see passes others couldn't.

Robert always got stick when he didn’t show up or if we conceded when he didn't track back. I just accepted it. Like i said in the Man Utd, i'd have no harm in players like Robert just standing near the half way line half arsed about tracking back. Robert couldn't give a shit for his defensive duties, when he did go back he would only put a stupid tackle in then the fans would complain more. I never moaned at him for his work rate, accepted that was the type of player he was. Some games he’d be unplayable, other games he’d look like he wasn’t as up for it. Rough with the smooth. I just criticised Bellamy's finishing and cuntish ways basically. His work rate was excellent and he helped Shearer a lot. Always felt he was nothing great, like Dyer, but was crucial to our side. I just adored the abilities of Robert/Solano/Shearer more. Everyone has their favourites, Dyer/Bellamy just weren't mine.
-
And the fact at Ewood Park he walked past the Newcastle fans in his cocky manner then kissed the Blackburn badge at us. c***. I was never his biggest fan but appreciated what he had done here then he does stuff like that which make me think he's an even bigger c*** than i first thought.

You've just described Craig Bellamy before he signed for us I was never a Bellamy fan, even back when he played for us. However i can't deny what a huge impact he had on us, was a perfect fold for Shearer. Saying this Long is nowhere near as good as Bellamy. How could you not be a Bellamy fan? He transformed our team from mid-table to one of the best in the country. Best signing we've made in the past 15 years. Bellamy and Dyer in 2001/02 Don't get me wrong i appreciated what a huge player he was in our side and how much he aided Shearer. I was just never fan of his overall ability. He used to miss chance and chance, his finishing really pissed me off but the amount of goals Shearer scored on the back of Bellamy's pace was brilliant. Was an excellent partnership. What mainly got me more was the fact I loved Robert the most in our side whilst my mate I went with hated Robert but then Bellamy was he favourite. So we used to always wind each other up over Robert/Bellamy. Fantastic side, great memories.

60 starts out of the 81...i know he's not known for his goalscoring, i just think he's overrated on this board. He's average, he'll work hard for the team, has pace and will chip in with a few goals. Around 6 million pound for him? Not for me, I'd take Cisse everytime.
-
He'll be given time but they will only be delaying the inevitable. He'll never reach the heights they want to be at with him in charge. Even with the right signings, he'll not get them back to the top imo. Would Pardew? Genuinely interested. Definitley not. Same boat as Moyes, doesn't have the winning mentallity for a manager of a big club and hasn't got the experience of major cup wins. Moyes is just a better Pardew, but he's not anything brilliant himself, just a good solid manager but shouldn't be at the height he's at and should count himself very lucky to be in such a position.
-
I like him as a pundit, seems to talk sense most of the time. Obviously he has to provoke a reaction sometimes, he's on TalkSport. I don't listen to his show, even his voice grates on me. Just mean his views on Twitter. Always provoking. Not as bad as that Parry bloke, like. I think Talksport just employ bellends

I can't fucking stand Collymore, like. I'm not comprehending the racist abusive or death threats he receives but he's still a cunt and i don't care for him. He's always trying to get bites out of fans with ridiculous points of view, he just antagonises and brings me no surprise that a number of numptys on there over step the mark and take it too far.
-
He's already a hated figure around Sunderland
