Ah ok, I couldn’t see from my angle but I thought he’d dragged it wide and it had hit someone

    Anthony Gordon

I just don’t get the pleasure angle of saying “haha, you were wrong to people” I liked Gordon and defended him a lot after we signed him and I was fairly positive about the signing when it first broke but I couldn’t care less what people used to think about him. If people were to call him shit now if he went on a run of bad games then I’d call them out on it but after the fact I really can’t be arsed and don’t find any enjoyment in it
  3. What the fuck are Man U by the way? I know they’re a counterattacking side but what are they really? Any side can set up to break quickly after depending with a low block and it’s not a successful system unless you have amazing pace and fantastic strikers. Why is Ten Hag setting them up like this? They’re awful in possession of the ball and awful at winning it back. They looked like a beaten side mentally for large parts of the game

Yeah, he had a great game. I need to see that chance back from the first half that he dragged wide from eight yards but I couldn’t care less, he’s brilliant. If he hadn’t been fucked he’d have scored with that run he went on that started 1v1
  5. Thought he had a fantastic game tonight, his trapping of a ball and first touch is exceptional. I know it’s been said a lot but it can’t be praised enough, it is a huge reason for why he manages to start so many attacks for us
  6. Completely bossed the midfield, didn’t put a foot wrong. Playing like the world class midfielder he is and has been for weeks

I’ve said it before but his touch, how he receives the ball off both feet and how he finds a yard of space is second only to Bruno. He’s a special talent who has also shown great vision too. Hard to predict exactly what lies ahead but he’s already easily good enough to start for us
  9. Musiala was at Chelsea too? Fucking hell, hope they get relegated in the next five years. They’re basically a textbook for how not to run a club but they’ve managed to paper over that with absurd spending and a loans system that’s quite frankly built entirely to help the richest clubs monopolise talent
  10. Thought it was a very good atmosphere for most of the match. Couple of quieter spells, towards the very end of the first half and for a brief period in the second half. Overall though, we helped to intimidate Man U who were the shittest version of themselves I’ve ever seen against us

Ref must have been charmed by him to not give him a yellow. Wish he’d slammed a piledriver at Onana. I wanted him to take the free kick which Trippier hit off the bar but that was a quality strike from Tripps
  12. Our midfield tore them to shreds, first to every ball, superior patterns of play, intricate passing. We played in behind them again and again. It’s a wonder they’re not in the bottom half as they’re utter shit
  13. This lad’s fast becoming my favourite player to watch for us
  14. Definitely a couple of results today that could put people out of jobs, let’s add to that later on
  15. Ten Hag after the match “I take responsibility for the result, we have to come up with solutions because we were second best today” Newcastle 2-0
  16. He’ll be playing his typically tight, counter attacking play so it’ll suit against us being tired. However, I think we’ll do them over out of our team being far more united (no pun), us controlling the midfield and us just wanting it more
  17. Much prefer coach over flight. Coach only becomes a drag when it’s over 4-5 hours and if you’re on a Megabus with your legs getting crushed. On a luxury coach I’d be happy travelling all day
  18. Man U in the mud literally and figuratively, enjoy the ride lads. Wonder who gets to sit next to Ten Hag. Back of the bus will be Varane and Rashy
  19. Sell him as a one off deal - Murph and Turf You get one Murphy and a square foot of hallowed St. James’ turf for £30m
  20. not really one for conspiracies but what on earth is going on here?

Well, it’s normally the calling card of a manager whose team is playing shite and who is tactically limited. It’s the type of quote Pardew and Bruce will have used a bunch of times

    Football pet hates

Means keeping it tight, reducing positive risk taking, short simple passing, defensive shape is paramount etc
