I'd be amazed if Cabella (if he joins) is playing anywhere that isn't infront of the middle 4 and behind the isolated striker. He'd take Cabaye's advanced role from last season imo. So yeah, more opportunities for Colback then.

Even if we have the returning Raylor or sign a Cabella, you can safely say we will see Colback regularly. He's not going to forsake the regular game time at Sunderland to play ten odd games here.

I'll stick a poll on for this when it's confirmed. Given that's he's "versatile" I reckon he'll start a lot of games next season. I'd be surprised if he doesn't clock more than 25 appearances.
