Seems like a lot of clubs broke their transfer records this summer.
Arsenal (possibly Ozil), Spurs, Norwich, Swansea, West Ham, ?Southampton, Cardiff, Palace. Man U also offered a record fee for Cesc.

Can't see them doing well tbh. Go on a poor run and the pressure on the players will only get intense from their manager.
Didn't know their midfielder-turned-LB is their vice-captain.
Sess fell out with PDC like? Can't believe they are selling their best player for such a low fee.
That'll be 3 of their best players from last summer gone. They are left with a few unhappy players plus a truckload of new signings needing to bed in under the intense scrutiny of their manager.
Well done, Paolo.
'We've got plenty of time left. Judge us only after the window closes.'
Bet those same guys will be in to defend our transfer window after it slams shut.
On top, I got Bale in when it went a little quiet on the transfer to Real, but thought I can always sell him and get the £14m back to pick up other players doing well. f***ing c***s dropped his price to just over £11m presumably because he isn't playing so I lost £3m in transfer fee's when I moved him on. Really out of order dropping his price!
They did? Strange considering they impose a price freeze if the player is injured or unavailable iirc. Glad I took him out when the Real move was imminent. A 3m adjustment is ridiculous.
You mean home-grown players? The home-grown rule is that you must be registered with club(s) in that association for 3 years before the age of 21.
In this case, having a UK passport makes it easier for renewal of their work permits and nothing more since the PL has no foreigner limits compared to other leagues.
No one knows really. You could speculate that based on Deschamps' remarks he had no choice but to play and to play well, but anything is just speculation unless he comes out with his side of the story.
Didn't they already sign someone a few weeks ago?
Anyway, just another of Aulol's crap. If it was a valid excuse, they would have bought in someone when they sold Lisandro Lopez. You can see their emphasis is towards their youth players as they are totally skint.
Edit: Played Lacazette upfront for their games so far.
I'm not the only one who saw that then.
Ridiculous reaction after they had conceded a third. He's probably (and rightly) going to get some stick for that.
Starting out well too with the public blaming of his captain. Can't wait til he strips JOS of the captaincy and the meltdown that will ensure.
