Why did he delete that? Villa are desperate to sell and there's no turning back after sending him to train with the reserves/youth team. There is seemingly a lack of interest for him elsewhere. We'll just wait it out. Bonus of saving on those weeks of wages if we delay signing him too.

Get Oldtype on the ground for a field report.

Last year of contract and player is picky over clubs having refused a number of moves. They won't get that much for him.

I was talking about potentially for us - Gouffran Gomis Marveaux Anita Cabaye Bigi Or Remy Cisse Ben Arfa Jonas Tiote Sissoko Decent.

Unlikely, he's only scored 20 goals in a season once in his career Twice, including the half-n-half season when he transferred to us. Make sure you do the FM research right.

http://www.whoscored.com/Teams/228 http://i.imgur.com/4qCoRQV.png Looks 4231 to me. In fact pretty similar to ours. Anyway let's not get into technicalities. Main point is he plays as the lone striker for Lyon.
-
He plays as the lone striker in a 4231 system for Lyon. Could well fit into both 4231 and 442 systems here.
-
Gomis has never played outside of France yet so his wages should be easier to negotiate... Remy's are going to be the sticking point now that he's on big money at QPR... Playing in France might be, but believe Lyon got alot of money after having monopoly on the league title for so many years. Lyon hasn't won the league for 5 years and financially they are not in great shape. Gomis rejected earlier moves so they had to sell Martial to Monaco to raise funds before a deadline. France has high taxes for big-earners so outside of moneybags Monaco and PSG we will have an advantage wages-wise.

Immobile. Poor guy would be the subject of several media puns if he ever comes here.
-
It was beyond us when Dortmund came in. I'd even say we had close to no chance when he went on that goalscoring run 2nd half of last season.
-
Can't argue with that fee. Same if we add Bent for similar.
-
Yo and Debs looks like they were forced into the picture.
-
didn't see that one coming Effectively signed a one-year extension which doubles his pay to 40kpw. Villa had all the cards with Benteke on a long-term contract and it being a WC year. Benteke was never going to win, at least for now.
-
All depends on whether we have sorted out the supply issue and that he isn't feeding on scraps. A better understanding between the players and none of the strangers-on-a-pitch BS will help immensely too. As it stands currently, he's not even been involved in pre-season matches so far.

Heynckes for a couple more years, then go for Klopp. I'll like to see Guardiola against Klopp this season. Please don't spoil things for me yet.
-
Same. Don't think he will move on yet. He seems committed to the Dortmund project.
-
Don't think Villa are stock full of options up front and Bent doesn't seem to have a future there. They are probably still looking for a striker and I doubt Benteke signing a new contract changes anything on the Gomis front. They might well get in another striker anyway as Benteke still looks likely to move on in the near future.
-
Personally I think it will affect us a great deal. All gettable good managers have already found clubs, only Heynckes remains available. Now, I'd if Klopp came, but that's not going to happen. Still, genuinely worried for Tito. That's too many relapses for a cancer Heynckes would be a damn fine choice even if it is a short-term measure. He seems pretty open to managing again so there's a good chance Barca can tempt him out. What you said about Tito, that's truly worrying.

Gomis Gourcuff Grenier Benzia Gonalons Mvuemba Dabo Umtiti Kone Fofana Lopes They played this vs PSG at home. From the rest of the reports I've seen so far, Gomis plays as the lone striker in the same system.
-
OL plays 433 with Gomis up front don't they?

Watch Ryder swoop onto this like a hawk. If it is right, I'm amazed it hasn't been peddled like him/the club already. Ryder is usually on the ball with academy stuff compared to the rest of life. We might just be making the numbers up though and the author is confused. Yeah, thought I read the review process is every 2 years. We have already fk up the few chances we had, I'll be surprised if Ashley is suddenly interested in the top category despite what had been peddled by the club.
