That's fast.
It leaves them with Fletcher and Altidore as their first-team strikers?
Wickham is still there ain't he?
PDC doesn't like his dress sense though.

That player link was mentioned by Nut yesterday. Think the latest news is that he has turned around and signed a contract extension with them.
I've never really understood how first refusals work. The player wants to leave, you inform the club but they have to still agree a fee and the player has to be willing to move to them.
Feels more like a courtesy call to me unless a fee had been included as part of the agreement.
Not too particularly arsed about the result here, it's only a friendly. I just hope they will be able to use pre-season to work out something resembling a team. It would be ridiculous if there's a lack of understanding on-pitch come regular season again.
I read it as Moyes saying he sees Rooney more in a withdrawn role behind RvP, and that he'll only have the lone striker role if RvP is unavailable.
Which makes perfect sense. RvP is arguably the best player upfront in the league. Can only see it as an issue if Rooney is insistent on that particular position.
What a pathetically small-time attitude.
You can argue about him, form/injuries/style of play etc, but not one NUFC fan can defend comments like that. How pathetic, man.
Wouldn't be too sure about that.
We don't know that they actually have been quoted a straight 25m for Benteke.
I was going by the widely reported figure in the media. 25m is a huge sum, I'll be amazed if you get more than that for him including a Lukaku loan. Pretty much a no-brainer if that happens.
Why would they offer that when they have been quoted a straight 25m for Benteke? Given that Ba might be off, Torres being Torres, with no striker of pedigree coming in and Mourinho quotes on giving Lukaku a chance too.
