I don't think Taylor will ever get a call-up as long as he plays for NUFC. Think he got called up once but had to withdraw due to injury.
  2. Make sure it's clean as a whistle.

Who are the other options with 2 legs before Steven Taylor. Taylor's never going to get an England cap under Woy.
  5. Cabaye groin injury and next match Debuchy gets a possible hamstring strain. You wonder what those 2 were up to.

    Dogawful Officiating

Chris Foy (horror show at same weekend ) and Phil Dowd are both 50. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Select_Group_Referees Edit: All 3 same alumni.
  7. If they go down, Brighton & Poyet will come up And Stevenage after that. Pretty sure the other PL clubs will love to see the last of Wigan too to get away from the distress that happens every 2nd half of the season.

    Papiss Cissé

And you wonder if Ferguson was justified in the criticism of him turning flair players like Rooney into more functional players, when Cisse almost always goes for the spectacular when there are better simple options. Says a lot when Messi and Ronaldo seldom do tricks nowadays and focus on simple effective moves.
  9. Sick of them being our bogey team but that was that. Today totally changed my perceptions though and I hope they are relegated and disappear into lower leagues oblivion.

    Papiss Cissé

Also nicked the ball in an awkward position off Perch when the latter was better placed for a shot. Perch got really angry with him and rightly so.
  11. It can still be damn bad even without the leg bending. We're talking about a weight-bearing joint, the part where the bones are connected. Once that loses significant ability to hold up the body it's game over. At least broken bones can heal or even strengthen the area without long-lasting implications.
  12. Amazing how we finally get a proper RB and cover at LB which also helps to get Santon some rest then fates proceeds to screw us up with 2 injuries to our winter signings in one match. This season...
  13. Fking assault to the knee man. That's one of the worse injuries you can get. Can potentially end the career of a very young footballer before it has even started. Essien got fked after his knees went.
  14. 11 match. The horrendous injury overshadowed the match and any result. It would have been empty even if we have won. Hope this doesn't impact on Haidara's career too much. Get well soon, Massadio.
  15. Bramble showing signs of form already.
  16. Bramble on to save the day for Norwich.
  17. Wenger can learn from Hughton's dress sense.
  18. Totally silly from him. Needless move leading to a decision from the linesman/ref.
  19. Search the following in youtube for part of his legendary status : 'Steven Taylor best backpass ever vs Spurs ' 'Steven taylor handball?' Also remember that time when he ran the whole length of the pitch after he scored a goal. /geordiehero Good singer too, the lad. Edit: Just recalled that attempted lobbed pass in the final third a few games ago. Cabaye would have been proud of that. This lad just gives plenty of memories.
  20. Harry was always going to save them. Looks that way now. They have some great momentum with a few plucky draws and those back-to-back wins. Villa on the other hand surely will go down. Despite an important win last week, they have no real drive with the few matches remaining. I wonder if you guys will say the other way around if Villa turns this around... They won't.
