Didn't realise there was still a 3 long years in his contract. Glad we don't have to suffer his antics for what would have felt like 3 decades.

Some of them could have European ancestry (parents, grandparents etc). There's also the exceptional talent scheme when it comes to WPs. If not, we can always loan them to a continental side (Spanish, Belgian etc) for a few years to let them gain a 2nd passport.

If he had made an effort, he would have eclipsed Shola's Premier League substitute appearance record.

His career will just be a succession of lower league clubs each time he moves, til he falls into oblivion.

He missed a fair few in his last season at Lille but besides Shola, I don't see any other notable penalty takers other than Cabaye and Ben Arfa.

PEA has been in amazing scoring form since the transfer window closed. Love to have him here. He'll be a good fit into our current system.

Do you think he's a significant upgrade on Goufran? More an improvement on Obertan, Marveaux and Jonas. Rated higher than Gouffran I'd say, but Gouffran has been immense in his first 4 games here. So too early to tell. Will also allow Gouffran to play in a central role if needed. It's FC Twente we're talking about though. Never easy negotiating with their chairman.

Will be more than reasonable if he still needs some time to get up to speed. I think people are just hopeful of an earlier appearance after he came in clearly the fittest of our lot at the start of the season despite having not much training/ pre-season.

Was he ever a designated penalty taker? Can't see him taking one when we have Cabaye on the pitch.

Does that mean Jonas not starting? Like it that we have leaders on the pitch - Cabaye, Yanga-Mbiwa, Debuchy who have at some stage captained their previous clubs. Even Sissoko seems like a potential captain-type. Pre-January, leadership was limited on the pitch with the injuries and a distracted club captain.

Look how skinny he is there man. Who was the manager that saw and proceeded to mould a target man out of that?
