  1. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this has actually been completed and the PL have cracked a deal with the consortium about when to announce it. Consortium announce the takeover complete early morning and PL announce restart at lunch time. The media will want to focus largely on the breaking restart news, and the subsequent resumption of the tedious fawning over Man U, Liverpool et al, minimising the outcry over the takeover. This would suit both the consortium and the PL. The only spanner in the works, of course, is Ashley. Probably no way of stopping him blabbing. Aye, Mike Ashley who's well known for keeping the fans in the loop! I think you kind of missed that particular point!

  3. My kids love it, man They like clicking on the planes and seeing the pictures. Yeah me too!
  4. Didn’t he say long before the media knew that the Saudis wanted to buy the club? Yes at the start of this season.
  5. Start a hilarious in-joke about him being Brazilian? and then keep banging it out relentlessly in a tragic belief that it's building his online rep. You mean I have an online rep? Fucking hell, the standard of posts/members on here hasn’t half went down since Dave left... Commendable self awareness there!
  6. I wonder if that's the same Olivier Bernard that told my daughter 2 weeks ago that we would hear 'next week', so last week? That's because it's all based on expectations. It was "expected" to happen last week but didn't. Not sure why everyone is obsessing over exact timings. It'll happen, or it won't. OK Nostradamus.

  8. Why do people assume that those working on restarting the league are the same people as the lawyers assessing the PL O&D test for this takeover? I can see no reason why one needs to affect the other. We're at the back end of the anticipated timescale, we will hear in the next couple of days. Also it will be the new owners who will announce the deal has been completed, not the PL. I can't remember a single instance where the PL have announced these tests have been passed. It's new owners that do that.
  9. Christ man 2 hours ago you were all ready to crack open the takeover cans and start wanking yourselves silly at the prospect of football word domination. Now you sound like a defeated and broken rabble. If the .com info is true, and 2 hours ago everyone was waxing lyrical about their reliability, then the test was passed at the end of last week and we are at the final legalities stage including the transfer of funds. Bankers, that's not a spelling mistake, on here have claimed it takes 3-5 days for everything involved in a transaction of this size to go through the process required which fits in with an announcement this week. I doubt the PL would try and reverse their decision once the money transfer process was underway. They probably can't do it legally anyway once they have given approval. All of the facts indicate this BeouT carry on has nothing to do with PIF. Time to chill out and wait for the announcement confirming the Ashley era has been consigned to a dark chapter of our history.
  10. Well at least he got the day right, can't vouch for the time though. I wonder if he knows who the manager is going to be?
  11. Anyone harbouring any doubts as to the knife edge these fuckers are on should read this and all your fears will be allayed. it's like a good book that you don't want to end, but the as yet unwritten final chapter could be glorious.
  12. That would be superb, however I doubt the residents in Woolsington would be happy. They put up a hell of a fight to prevent new homes being built near the Falcons ground. They lost that fight however it took years to resolve what with legal challenges etc. I'll say it again, i went past on Wednesday and they are building houses on it!
  13. They're building houses on it. People are actually in some already!
  14. Just give Leicester a bell, offer to go halfers on the design work on their training ground and get started ASAP.
  15. That will be well deserved to in the eyes of all them massive lads fans. A white hatchet man who hates the mags shoold receive his full salary for life marra Discos brother, welcome.
  16. It's not a debate if one side makes the rules. There aren't any rules, you're free to express your opinion. Not sure why criticism on here is so often viewed as oppressing speech or some weird shit. If you don't agree with the left wing Commie bastards on here you'll be hounded out!
  17. Erm... why? They've cancelled their season.
