  1. This one made me laugh:

The London marathon is bad enough it's a waste of licence payers money but the coverage given to the north run is a f***ing disgrace. It isn't even a proper marathon. It's a joke and more tyneside propaganda convincing the country that the north east begins and ends on the f***ing tyne.

tyneside propaganda hahaha what the f***

  2. Gutted for the lad and whats worse is it means we're stuck with Raylor at left back because he won't play Ferguson. It's injuries like this that p*ss all over the "squad is stronger this year" statements. Actually isn't Ferguson injured too?

    Ferguson isn't a left-back.

    my thoughts as well

  3. Its like those assassins that let a gun accidently stumble into their hands, then accidently pull the trigger as its aimed at a man's forehead. One big accident.

to be fair its like a glass slipping out of ur hand and hitting someone in the face when you were only trying to swill them

  4. I'm sure when he done his first interview on NUFC tv he was asked about mourinho saying he could be the next maldini, they asked something like do you think that's right? (or something along thos lines)

he replied, 'yes, 100%' ....obvioulsy doesnt phase him that much  cant wait to see him in our colours, has to be involved on saturday

  5. Thanks for making me feel like I've really spent my £43 well.

43 quid? Jesus f***ing Christ. I heard Wolves fans complaining about us charging them a fortune too the other week.

I'll let you have some nice pubs to go to if you're looking for somewhere away from beer-throwing mongs in the Cap and Gown.

aye, wouldnt mind a few suggestions....only really been told 1 or 2 bars so far....and it looks like we're going to be there very early with plenty of time to kill!

  6. Sunderland are like Arnie Pie from the Simpsons and we are Kent Brockman. It all makes sense.

Arnie Pie: This city has exploded in a fireball of rage.

Kent: I think what the viewers want to know, Arnie, is: Is my house okay?

Arnie Pie: You mean is your giant castle okay, Kent?

Kent: Don't hassel me because I bought at the right time.

Arnie Pie: When's my right time, Kent? When's my right time?

"With the bridge gone and the airport unfortunately on the other side of the bridge, a number of citizens are attempting to jump the gorge with their cars. It's a silent testament to the 'never-give-up' and 'never-think-things-through' spirit of our citizens."

  7. i'm nearly in tears seeing perch popping up on the bench for a few people :(

CHEICK TIOTE has warned Joey Barton that their friendship must go on hold for 90 minutes tonight at Loftus Road.

Barton will pull on the blue-and-white hoops of Queens Park Rangers for the first time this evening, and in one of his parting shots to Mike Ashley predicted that Tiote would be another player to be sold by the United regime as soon as they receive a decent offer.

Tiote has shrugged off the pre-match drama, though, and is instead revelling in the challenge of stopping Barton and Co in the capital.

The Ivory Coast star goes into battle with his former colleague in one of the key battles of a Premier League contest that will have the rest of the country watching in to see if Barton can get one over his former employers.

Barton, of course, left United under a cloud after falling out with the Toon board over his criticism of the club’s much-discussed transfer blueprint.

However, Tiote feels it is now time to focus on football, and told the Chronicle: “Joey has gone now and that’s history for us.

“We need to focus on the next game.

“It’s football – everything happens in football like that but we must move on as a team at Newcastle. I’m sad Joey has gone, but that’s football, we need only to think about the team and winning this match.”

Tough-tackling Tiote knows the strengths and weaknesses of former Manchester City and England midfielder Barton, but says that there will be no animosity.

He said: “We are playing against Joey, and I will be happy to see him, but we must do our jobs first.

“He’s a good man and a good friend but I don’t have a problem with him.

    “That must be my approach.”

United can continue their good start to the Premier League campaign and can nudge into the dizzy heights of the top flight’s top four with victory at Loftus Road.

Tiote’s form has been average since the season kicked off, with the player admitting he felt the effects of training alone in Ghana during the summer while waiting for a routine work permit to be processed.

The former FC Twente player said: “It’s important to win this game – we’ve started well, and we need to stay focused and continue that.

“We must do everything to win this game.”
