  1. With the exception of the Family Stand, which part of the stadium would you recommend for a family?

    Ryan Taylor

He's got to start at Right back ahead of Simpson. Was class today.
  3. He's been compared to Maldini, so he must have some of sort of skill defending.
  4. Like I stated in my last post, this is not true. Attendences were falling when even Keegan was manager. See Bolton in August 2008.
  5. I don't want to defend Ashley, but I think its the economic climate. I seem to remember that in our first home game of the 08/09 against Bolton, we only had 47K. And King Kev was still manager.
  6. I want Ben Arfa kept away from Kelvin Henry. And hope Saylor "unwittingly" catches Henry with his elbow.
  7. Yep, Umbro would be sound. It will probably end up being Lonsdale, mind.
  8. Does the Puma deal finish at the end of the season?
  9. We won the Teresa Herrera trophy on penalties. Keep the faith.

    Alan Pardew

It's not pretty though, is it? That was one of his major selling points upon arrival, that he would bring us a "better brand" of football. This season has been pretty shocking so far in that respect. Not complaining about the points haul, mind. Where's that "better brand" quote from? Definately hoping for an improvement but not too worried yet. The players we have brought in should get us there but may take a while to gel, and it's not helped when we lack the kind of striker that can give us the confidence to be more adventurous. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/dec/16/alan-pardew-newcastle-united-fans-entertainment Alan Pardew has promised Newcastle United fans that he will send out a side capable of winning with style. "Our crowd wants the team to play a brand of football to get them on their feet; that ain't going to happen all the time but my work on the training ground needs to reflect the history of the club," said Pardew as he marked his first week in charge at St James' Park.
