Downing to score anytime - 17/2 -
Pardew told him he wouldn't be picking him so he's either not wanted by other clubs or he's hanging around for the money. If he cared at all about actually playing he'd have tried to leave a few years ago.

Would really love to know why every manager we've had has ignored him, especially when we've had the occasional injury crisis up front over the years. Sensible submissions only
-
Back on twitter purely to big himself up then.

Probably works even better with the second choices. 1 injury to Hart and it's all over.

Very serious questions need to be asked about why England have got such a small pool of players who are capable of being called up to the squad. There's some deeply embarrassing names in there when you consider the PL is claimed to be the best in the world and England in general is supposed to be a footballing superpower.

Eh? Why does he deserve stick off us? Was brilliant in his last season, didn't want to leave and has been nothing but nice to us since he left. Doesn't deserve to be boo'd by our fans regardless of what you think of him as a person imo. The way he basically begged to be sold via his public rants was pathetic and made us a laughing stock yet again. That's on top of everything else he did which embarrassed us, the club and himself.

Far be it from me to tell you how you feel, but you really should be more than contented. Highest points total in 10 years, fantastic team, European football and solid foundations in most areas. Svelte Mike deserves a lot of credit for this, regardless of how badly he did in the past. And on the subject of Slender Mike, this is worth another read with 4 years of hindsight http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/7615655.stm

Has Klasnic been mentioned/discussed? He's 32 but he's free and doesn't seem to mind sitting on the bench despite being better than that. Could be handy if we're selling Best.

Not even Norwich fans?

All the England talk has gone to his head.

"RAWK Meltdown @RAWK_Meltdown I almost can't type this because I can't see the keys through the tears. How much more of himself does Kenny have to give to LFC?" Things like this means I can't hate them
