I don't understand these payoffs at all, surely if someone is terrible at their job they can't be entitled to such a massive result. Scale, baby.

Not sure Moyes is entertaining enough for The Flasher tbh. That's the absolute number 1 requirement for me these days, even before actually winning games.

Do you not remember the summer, how many transfer target they missed out on? They ended up with a player who wasn't what was required and then Mata who will be a good signing but he wasn't the centre mids, central defenders or everything else they require for this rebuild. They have spent a chunk of money, but as we all know it isn't the money that's important on the pitch, it's the right players in the right positions. Fellaini was obviously a Moyes buy and that wasted £30 million. Not sure how much of a difference Baines would have made either and he'd have cost another £20 million or so and was also a Moyes target.

They were 8th the year before and basically a laughing stock. It's only taken a few new players for Rodgerz to get them to the title after that. Moyez took over the champions and has died. Yeah, but you're comparing the squads, where they finished before hand under a different manager should have little to do with it. Rodgers took over a Liverpool side being mismanaged by an out of touch Kenny Dalglish where as Moyes has taken over a side managed by the Premierships greatest manager. The quality of this Man Utd squad really doesn't reflect a side who pissed the Premiership. That's the point. Rodgers took a lot of those players who finished about 50 points off the title and now has them winning it 2 years later whereas Moyes has done the opposite in half the time.

Indeed. Liverpool's overall squad isn't any better than Man Utd's. A quick look at Liverpool's bench every week proves that but Rodgers gets the most out of his players in a way Moyes isn't.

Mainly because Remy's goals won games, majority of Ba's goals didn't translate to points. There's a big difference between the two. If that is even true (can't be bothered to check, I'll trust you xx), that's not really Ba's fault. He scored twice in a game 4 times and we only won 1 of them, for example. Both have saved us from relegation basically. De Jong will have to next season.

Easy to forget that Ba was performing similar heroics only last season to what Remy has this season. Never fully got the credit he deserves for it either.

If I still did it, there isn't one player left who I'd want on the back of my shirt. It used to be a difficult decision and was a massive sign of respect. Cisse or Colo are probably the highest sellers these days which tells you everything about our current lot. A 2 in 23 striker and a deserter are our heroes.
