He's playing exactly like Cisse. Barely touched the ball so far.
-
He sounded exactly like we all would when asked about possibly playing in it. Wants to be in with our fans if he's not picked as well.

Yip! I think people might slowly start to do that u-turn though, I thought it was impossible but the future is looking brighter and brighter, can't see how they can keep going in the other direction! This team is going places! Pardew got it right today and as most people who routinely criticise him do, I will admit that and hope for more or the same. But this post is absolutely dire and is falling into the realms of WUM. Just fully Classic WUM call out just when things don't go in favour of the Pardew haters. What's the wind up? I think people might start to come around to Pardew's new standard of football and start to believe we have a good team at our club who not only are talented but have a character and spirit about them to succeed! Our manager might be poor but he's trying to implement this new style and he's got the players to do so! I said I'd be happy with top 8 with good football and I think we are striving towards that! No not at all. Haters FFS man. The wind up is the tone man. People are happy we won, and people have praised him. Is there any need after one game to say stuff like "can't see how they can keep going in the other direction" come on man. I'm all up for positivity but it's just gloating. Ignore him, Brohan Cabaye.

It going as bad as it realistically could and it's glorious. An upturn in form isn't guaranteed at all either which is also glorious.
-
We didn't really. After the goal we stopped attacking bar the odd counter which always fizzled out into nothing.
-
What? We have 3 good counters that I remember and scored a goal. We were a man down you know. Did their keeper make a save in the second half? Really can't remember one and that's not the sign of a team that should have won. Are you surprised? You did see the sending off? All I'm saying is that we "shouldn't have won it". We were celebrating the draw as if it were a win.

Mostly true, though whoever was responsible for his injury/fitness last year needs sacking. Can't remember the last time an injury was handled so badly for us. http://i40.tinypic.com/2z8uef7.jpg

Weird how Pardle complains about not having enough attacking penetration then benches him after he's finally gotten fully fit. If he was to get injured now he'd definitely bemoan the fact we "aven't ad Atam" when we under perform in the next 8 games.

Actually, he was. Been trying to give this thread as wide a berth as possible, but in fairness Mick, Pardew had and still does have, a pretty good reputation within the game. That's what really counts when you're managing professional footballers. The opinions of fans on or off the internet is very much secondary to that. I have no doubt that Pardew will sooner or later be pushed out of NUFC, but he won't be out of work for long. Why would he be pushed out of NUFC, his remit is hardly demanding? Keep us up with a squad that is probably among the 8 most expensive in terms of value in the premier. Very unlikely as far as fees but we do have the 8th highest wage bill in the league so he's got a point. That's probably offset by our transfer profit - plus I imagine it's fictional anyway - our squad is pretty small and nobody is getting daft money. It was 8th in April.

S.Taylor was playing then and playing the best football he's ever played. -
If Wenger was to be interested I'd want him to have a trial period first.
-
You wouldn't be happy if we got Mourinho or Guardiola then? They'd have to prove themselves here before you accept them? http://blogs.vso.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Moving-the-goalposts-300x2402.jpg

I hope France do so our French players have some motivation to not be so shit again. Plus the outside chance of Atam being there and smashing Ronaldo's record. -
He was said to be a horrible little bastard who was unmanageable. I don't blame us at all for not getting him then.
