  1. Surely we’ve never had someone go from hero to zero (cunt) this quickly before and on such a large scale? From the euphoria of Wembley and some of the outrageous goals he’s scored and the moments he’s brought us over the years. To just downing tools and carrying on like a spoilt brat. Jenas and Owen are nowhere near comparable when you factor in popularity and ability. Jose Enrique the same. Maybe there are cases further back and also before my time that are similar. But there wasn’t a 24/7 news cycle and social media. So it would have been much harder to keep track of.

    Harvey Barnes

Tika taka, hold onto the ball for too long, have one too many touches trying to walk it in, sideways and backwards…..? Bollocks to that. Cut inside and twat it. The Barnes special.
  3. What are you basing that on? When you look at prices players have moved for in the last year or two, what strikers are going for and the prices that are being quoted for them. Why would we fold at £120m? I think they will try again at some point with say £130m and some easy enough to achieve add ons. But even then I don’t think that is enough. Based on the above and what he is worth to us.

    Malick Thiaw

Only watched bits and pieces of highlight reels. As I don’t think he played at SJP when I went (I was pissed and I can’t remember) and I thought Tomori was the standout defender at the San Siro. From what I have seen. He is really aggressive at closing the space to the attacker on the half turn. Howe loves this from his CB’s. Botman is great at it and Burn and Schar regularly do it too. Often pushing right up into the other team’s half. You can get embarrassed doing it, if you get rolled. As Burn and Schar showed a few times last season. But I think it is a risk v reward tactic we go with and it’s great that he seems comfortable doing this already. Thiaw looks athletic enough and has a big enough frame to bother attackers physically and nick the ball if they’re playing on the turn. A bonus that he is comfortable on the ball and can play either side and off either foot, too. As we do lack incisive passing from the back 5, at times. Especially from Pope (no shit ), Tino and Burn.
  5. I look forward to the Prem hatchet men getting stuck into him/injuring when he signs for Liverpool. Caicedo, Joelinton, Romero, Yates, Tarkowski. Does O’Nien still play for sunderland?!
  6. Nah. I can't stand Neil Maupay. Absolute cunt he is.
  7. Starting to feel like this, also. I don't think I've ever wanted one of our players leaving to get a bad injury. Even with Owen I don't think I did. As I didn't give enough of a fuck about him from the minute he signed and never liked him. Plus you knew he was going to end up injured, anyway But I think it would actually bring me a small amount of pleasure if he gets crocked once he leaves. Which is incredibly petty, small time and vindictive. But then I am an incredibly petty and vindictive individual He knows nobody can afford or is willing to pay what he is worth. He is a bit stuck because of the 3 years left on his deal. So puts pressure on via his agent, unreasonable wage demands (for us as a club, not his 'fair market value') the media shills, Liverpool's briefings and by seemingly faking injury/embellishing it. Oh and by effectively going on strike. He could be leaving on good terms. But he has come across as a complete and utter scumbag throughout all of this. Pure snake.
  8. Not sure it was that low key. I think LFEE was implying what this place will be like when he scores the winner against Liverpool in a few weeks. Unless I’m being whooshed all round.
  9. Based on what? Why haven't we seen any movement on this and how come we can't seem to work on multiple deals at a time. Even one at a time seems beyond us Our first 13-14 players, as it stands. Is very strong and probably better than last year. But after that..... We have got weaker and the squad has got thinner. We have started getting rid of some of the dead wood and so it isn't bloated full of players that won't even contribute. But we don't seem like we will be replacing them any time soon.
  10. I hope so! I’m not being deadly serious, anyway. I was genuinely interested. Because as it stands, we are a complete and utter mess. Seemingly rudderless at the top and some big holes in the squad. Along with the whole Isak situation and being incapable of signing a replacement. I’m not really sure what odds I was expecting. But I was surprised so many teams were shorter than us in the betting.
  11. Spurs. In a meaningless pre-season. The same team that finished 16th-17th or whatever it was?! Get a grip man!
  12. May as well try and make some money out of our shitshow If we don’t get this striker situation sorted properly. We are in serious trouble. We know how crap we are without Isak in the team and we seem to be running out of genuinely decent options. All of which would have been a downgrade, anyway. That’s without looking at all the other glaring weaknesses when it comes to squad depth. I think there were 14 or 15 teams with shorter odds. So the market suggests it’s not likely. But I just feel like we’d need a massive turnaround in the transfer market or we’re in big trouble. Not really sure how you could have any confidence we’ll turn it around. Based on how wank we have been so far.
  13. 6/1 with Hills for us to finish bottom half. If this transfer window continues like it has been. I don’t think that’s a bad bet and can probably get bigger odds elsewhere.

    Yoane Wissa

This transfer window has turned this place into whatever the football equivalent of Info Wars is
  15. You know what. I fucking love it Get him signed.
  16. Hear me out. But him and Wissa as Isak and Wilson replacements isn’t that bad. Assuming Isak does leave this window and it is for no less than £150m. Which is doubtful. But that is ignoring how inflated the fees are for both players and the AFCON. The combined price should be no more than £80m. Also some desperation involved on my part. As we just need some players in!
  17. Can imagine it will be like the Peep Show paintballing episode. They’ll be shooting ball bearings at Isak
  18. Nah. I know it’s all rumours and BS so it works both ways. But articles have been saying he is on £80-90k a week, haven’t they? Reports that he wanted mega money and it was one of the things that put Arsenal off. He will be moving for top dollar and a double your money type deal at least, you would have thought?! I’m not saying that is all it is. As you’re historically one of the biggest clubs in the world. As much as it pains me to say it, as I despise you cunts and Chemical Jim. But it still doesn’t change the fact that it is laughable to suggest that we’d be offering a more lucrative package than Man U It’s why I think we’re fucked the minute one of the Sky 6 come in for the same player. Wages, fees, bonuses, status, success…… a functioning transfer team these all work against us.
