Rooney is IMO playing against far better defences week in, week out than Shearer did though. [/nottakinganythingaway] That's not true at all tbh. What? IMO defences these days are a bit better than 10 year ago. Not rocket science. no , attacker are more protected and easier to score now IMO . 10 years ago, defenders allowed to throw in some tough tackles but they'd be booked/sent off now.
