    Sunderland...

i'm starting to feel sorry for them, Bruce turned out to be the biggest joke in the league now
  2. Can't really disagree with what Barton has said there. no one taught him how to be a man , no one taught him how to behave when he went from £300 to £6500....excuses joey, how come all the others didn't behave the way you did. sociial media is a propaganda machine....so says the twitter whore. I agree with the stuff he was saying about Giggs/Terry/England Rugby Team. Barton was raised in a rough area of Liverpool and with a (somewhat dysfunctional) family like his, can imagine it being pretty hard to be raised "conventionally". if barton had been a carpet fitter with exactly the same background you'd say he was a t***, because he's a footballer who for a time played well for your team you'll change the criteria. opposite way round. Because he's a footballer his actions have been greatly exagerated to the point he is seen as a t***. If he wasn't a footballer he would just be a guy who's had a few scraps and has been prone to getting into a bit of bother. It's not like he's a f***ing wife beater or anything like
  3. I think he'll definitely turn out better than Martins. I'd love to see Marv in the team and Obertan out at the moment but I still think Obertan has many of the pieces necessary to be a very good winger. He's young, has pace, can whip a ball in and is developing into that role. The only problem is, Marveaux is the better player. But if you drop obertan it may dent the confidence he is now rebuilding with a good run in a side, it's a tricky situation like because I'm fully expecting marveux to be a great player when he eventually gets a look in vice versa, he might think he's been great that's why he's still in the team if you don't drop him.
  4. What was said? They showed him with his wife and baby (really cute lol) in the airport, when he was joining Newcastle on Wednesday after being with the French squad. Cabaye said he was very “urged” to see his team-mates (friends, he called them). Commentator always saying that his popularity is increasing more and more in France and of course in England. Cabaye was much chuffed with the international break with France. After, they showed his (very lush) house, in which he is keeping some photos of his Lille period and they insisted on the fact he received a lot presents from the NUFC fans who have seemingly adopted him quickly. Then, we saw him back to the training ground, team-mates like Tiote and Obertan asking for how he was with his injury knee. Every body in the club was worrying for him. Was having a lot of fun with Tiote, they seemed really good friends… Cabaye explained that Pardew told him he was the “quarterback” of his team. That he relied much on him. That pleased a lot Cabaye, to have a key role in your team. He really appreciates it. They also show him during the game against Spurs, saying he was quiet in the beginning, frustrating game debut. After, he was great. Finally, Cabaye said that since about 8-9 years now, he exchanges his shirt with Kaboul (Spurs defender and great friend of him), all the time, after every game he plays against him. Cabaye really seemed happy to be in Newcastle, obviously no regrets and even more now, when we see your position in the league table… It’s a good lesson to the French who criticised his choice of joining you. awesome , thanks a lot for your hard work , mimi

Peter Beardsley has been handed the task of identifying a new generation of Newcastle stars after being appointed as the club's football development manager. The former England international, who enjoyed two distinguished spells as a player at St James' Park, will spearhead the Magpies' effort to recruit the best young talent at home and abroad while retaining his involvement on the coaching side. Beardsley, whose current position as reserve team manager will be taken up by development coach Willie Donachie, has been handed a five-year contract in his new role. He said: "A large part of our club's future rests with our youth, so this is a terrific role for me. "Helping bring exciting young talent to Newcastle United will make me very proud. "I spoke with the manager today and Alan [Pardew] made it very clear how important this job is and what a difference he believes I can make to the club and its development." Managing director Derek Llambias added: "Peter has been an exceptional ambassador for our club for many years. "His international standing within the industry, together with the skills he brings to the training field, make him the perfect appointment for this vital new role. "We will also continue to benefit from the qualities that Peter brings to the training field. "He will continue to work with the development squad to support Willie in the coaching and technical development of players. "The Board is committed to improving the recruitment and development of young talented players who can progress through the ranks of the Academy and development squad. "We are delighted to appoint Peter to help us develop a truly world-class development programme."
