Its almost as if players need time to embedd themselves into Howes system & demands... You know, like multiple players have already stated.

Would the deal completing before June 1st make any difference to SCR? Either way, I don’t get the hate towards him. Good player, he’s done well here & hope he smashes it up in Spain

Harsh? They’ve admitted cheating on multiple occasions. It’s absolutely the correct punishment & a deterrent.

As much as I’m Howe in I’d be ok with him going now. My fear is he tarnishes his legacy, which I don’t want. no idea who we get in.
-
This is my position as well currently. Whilst I do agree Howe has his flaws and must adapt, this season was flawed the second we lost our DoF & CEO. We've got an aging squad that needs addressing, a forward line which has had its crown jewel ripped out. The criticsm Howe has rightly recieved over the past few weeks feels justified to an extent, but I do feel he has earned the right to rebuild this squad with the appropriate structure around him. If Howe were to leave I genuinely don't see who comes in and does better? If anything, other teams would likely push the button on their managers to get Howe if he was available IMO.

This is the part for me that's tough. Under no circumstances should Eddie have the public turn against him. I want him to stay and believe he still is the right man for the job, but if he was to go I'd prefer it to be on his terms.

This place can be unhinged after a defeat. We'll be fine.

Not in the slightest. Players come and players go regardless of the result.

Without reading previous pages all I can I add is how proud I am of the team and this CL run. Played these 3x this season and it was only a 45 minute spell they really took us apart. Absolutely wanted to qualify last night but the most important part for me personally, was show up and have a go. We did just that in the first half. Lets go and get European football via the league now.

This has been VARs best night… and it wasn’t even in use.

Agree with all of this. Football is doing exactly what its supposed to do. Probably plays into why I'm fully behind EH to be honest.

This is nothing more than personal opinion. Judge Wilson after a summer window, not prior. Just because Eddie Howe has been open to Ross Wilson doesn't instrinsically imply he's a 'yes' man. Infact, take a look at his signings for Forest? Some very good business in there. Yes, the structure is flawed, but that's not on Eddie Howe to resolve. Yet, he's continually been asked to do this for 2 (?) seasons now. Eddie Howe has his flaws, but he's carried the burden for this team for far too long. Money doesn't instantly equate to support.

Yes, he's been let down. There's been absolutely zero structure or cohesion above since Stavely left. He's spent practically the last two summers running the club whilst we've had senior staff members leave time and time again. Financially he's had backing, but please note previous windows where nothing happened despite an aging squad. You can look at the summer in isloation, but Eddie Howe has been failed and expected to pick up the baton on multiple occasions.

Despite the form and everything else, Eddie Howe is still the man to take us for IMHO. My major concern yesterday was Eddies comments post match, he looks exhausted. I do wonder whether the hospital stay and potential England job this summer may see him step down. He's been let down from above for a while now and deserves the structure and support this summer to reinvest in the squad. Naturally, I think a lot of this squad is coming to the end of their time here. I'd go as far as trying to negotiate any big sales early so EH can reinvest that.

Absolutely not. He's been terrible with and without the ball for a while now.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

He’s absolutely dreadful -
Absolutely nowt wrong with it.

He has to go for me. I've chopped and changed my mind daily on the whole thing. Howe and the squad seem to thrive on togetherness and spirit. I just can't see a scenario anyone at the club wants him back with the squad and risks that togetherness. Don't care where he goes, just get him gone at a price we deem acceptable (replacements dependant)
-
I’d be happy with Strand Larsen. Good goal return in a poor side, physically imposing and a good finisher. I think he’d score more under Howe too.
-
As much as I think we'll sign him now based on yesterdays bid. It just screams of Man United wanted to negotiate a lower price if he choses them.

I’m pleased you’ve clarified that it’s a rumour otherwise I’d have believed every bit of that
