Not true We're not here to be popular, we're here to compete, sign the fucker up.

Just hope any anti-Isak stuff is postgame, support the team with venom and bile for the dippers but anti Isak stuff postgame.

Their situations are incomparable, both have acted badly but the circumstances are fundamentally different, one has shit on his club the other has been shit on BY his club. Demanding £60 Mill for a 29 year old in last year of his contract, up from £30/40/50 Mill. You can go when we sign a replacement, get replacement, oh not that replacement we meant a different one oh and we're adding £20 Mill on your price. If a deals to be done, sign him up.

Agree with this and would add that whatever plans we had were derailed by the Isak shenanigans, that's the root cause of our issues.
-
Back-up striker was a priority position it wasn't "the" priority, we've been thrown into chaos because of Isak and him alone.
-
He didn't want to leave 12 weeks ago, he does now because him and/or his agent have been tapped up.

Utter rubbish, but thank you for your input Hans Christian Andersen.

Buy someone who isn't good enough for us. Genius.

Hardly, we'll have a list of ranked targets, we'll work through from best first, if that's a no goer we'll move onto the next one, one man's "one at a time" is another man's common sense. Multi positions will be looked at in parallel.

Not with 2/3rds of a contract left to run, halfway at earliest or whenever two years left hits. We were also in PSR hole remember. He'd come off a great season but at that time no-one was talking about him as best striker on the planet/in Europe, he was very good but wasn't considered as highly as he is now, because he did it again last season.

What is 75% wrong and what could we have handled better ?? We are lillywhite on Wissa.
-
Nope, incomparable, the actions are the same but the situations that caused them aren't.

One is 29 years old with one year left and had a promise (not seen that disputed anywhere) the other is 25 with three years left and has diddly squat. The fact (allegedy) that Amanda offered him a raise with four years left is mental, I'm not surprised it was knocked back, it wasn't even killed dead it was we'll talk about it next year (which is now).

I thought you were dead Mrs Thatcher

Wissa situation is incomparable to Isak, bloke was told he could leave for €30 Million, with one year on his contract, we placed a bid with his club and he goes "oh yes please", then Brentford go "nah, we don't want to until we get another striker", they sign a striker Wissa thinks "Thank fuck for that" then they say "oh we didn't mean THAT striker and we'll want £60 Mill when we get this other striker" - they've fucked him over. We have said nothing through the media. He's 29, this is his last chance at a significant move. Isak - no indication he wanted out, sure he was reportedly miffed Mitchell canned his payrise a year ago, but Mitchell has gone and everyone understood there'd be a new deal tabled. Liverpool tap him up and they and his agent start taking the piss through the media. We say not for sale, they lowball we tell them to fuck off, media noise intensifies, Isak goes on strike (allegedly) the twat has three years left. Do I think Wissa is right to down tools, no, but I understand it, I absolutely don't understand Isak's position. Do I think we're hypocritical if we sign him, not a chance, will we be portrayed that way, oh definitely, via the red media shills, they can fuck off for me and I certainly won't be clutching any pearls if/when we do sign him.

Great game ?? It was dire.

Botman will be nowhere near ready for 90 Minutes, no way we risk him until he's 100% IMO

French encouragement would have been better 😂
