Comfortable home win, almost a day off for them.
-
I just can't see him being dropped, unless we sign 2 new CBs. Even then I'm doubtful.
-
Still bitterly disappointed. Like Cambridge, we dominated the first half, but like that game, we didn't produce anything clear cut. So we go into half time, not a bad job so far, get a goal and maybe we can kick on. Instead, we get the goal and fall back. I can't believe how nervous everyone looked, especially the blokes at the back. Giving it away, heading it into orbit, losing their runners, the list goes on. And I'm just sick of it. Before October I didn't give a fuck, now I do and it sucks. We have run out of chances for me, this was the ideal opportunity to grab the win we needed to kick off our recovery. And we blew it. Unless we sign another 5 players (CM/CB X2/LB/FWD) then I simply cannot see how we get out of this mess.

Nah, we fucked it today. 10. Down
-
We can't beat Watford at home, so I can't see us staying up at all.
-
Can't believe how shit we looked after our goal. Nobody in the midfield to put their foot on the ball and control the game.
-
Can't see us surviving now, we're letting too many points slip.
-
Absolutely sick. Every single fucking game, we drop points in the last 10. I'm so fucking sick of it.
-
God this is agony
-
Fucking hell we've gone to shit since scoring
-
Fuck me that was great. Come on man another 2
-
This is gonna go the same way as Cambridge, isn't it?
-
We're the better team, but we have to put one of these chances away. Also love Trippier giving it large
-
My god we need 2 new midfielders by Leeds
-
Wildly confident for some reason, that Watford team looks shite. 5-0 win
-
Shitting it.

Fair enough lads, @KaKa @Chris_R, just anxious and want our shite team overhauled ASAP.

Sven Botman: targeting a return before Christmas (Howe)
SiLvOR replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Suppose we could call their bluff and stump up the fee, see what happens. Desperate to get new CBs in -
My worry is that so far, we've been very public with what we're doing. We've always had an idea of who's coming in, be it player or manager. There's not been a lot of talk about CMs or, more importantly CDMs, unless I've missed something concrete. I really hope we can have someone in before Leeds, because that would be transformational as you say, @The Prophet

If true, we should do whatever it takes to get him in now, rather than the summer. Obvious statement, but you'd assume everyone at the club would think the same way.

Holy shit, that defeat to Leyton Orient was one of the worst feelings I've had supporting this club. Went to it expecting a nice friendly, few goals, but we got demolished. The train home was sombre as fuck. And then the season we had was just wonderful. The emergence of Andy Carroll, the easy wins, Kevin Nolan doing the chicken dance. Loved that season, and loved having Hughton as the manager. Always enjoyed it when he said "a good group of lads" or words to that effect. Really nice words from him there, hope he's right and we can put together a run and get out of this mess.
-
And as usual, none of our lot protested. Only Cabaye was doing his nut at the ref, if memory serves. We really must get better at being annoying cunts like, been a missing component of our game for years.

Okay, so not get too "out there", but the last time my Dad and I went to a Millwall game, Chris Wood was playing. I lost my Dad in March, so maybe he's sending Chris Wood our way to dig us out of the shit?
-
He's a striker, so that's something. He can give us something different, and it weakens a direct rival. Not glamorous by any means, but fuck it, he may well do enough to keep us up. Don't think he's great, but will support him and I hope he proves me wrong.

Anyone but Ritchie at LB, tbh.
