This has totally knocked the stuffing out of me today. I came home after a quality weekend away and I just feel so upset now. Was easily one of my favourite players and he just seemed such a genuine fella, down to earth and a true nice guy. Devastated right now, constant lump in my throat, grew up through my childhood and early teens with him in our side and he really was a sporting hero of mine. EDIT: Obviously my thoughts are with the kids and wife, can't imagine how on earth they must feel right now.

I think it wouldn't work having him back. Would he intergrate well with the team again behind the scenes? Not so sure. Would love to be proved wrong but I can't see him coming back anytime soon, if ever.

Very much agree with regards to Chelsea. Quietly confident we could take all 3 points against them. As for this game, well as long as we at least go and make a real effort I'll be pretty happy.
