Didn't watch the game but presumably more likely to be an oblique injury if there wasn't any heavy contact?
  2. Hard to tell if it was a deliberate handball without a close up replay. I'd have been raging if I was a Liverpool fan and the Chiesa goal was ruled out and they didn't get a penalty for Trippier's ball to hand.
  3. An article from our state owned media nonetheless
  4. Our government is currently complicit in an ongoing genocide. Anyone living in this country trying to claim some morale high ground around our ownership can fuck right off.

I think it's a red, just a soft one and dumb as fuck. I don't agree with the poster who said the Brighton player ducking his head made it hit him there instead of his shoulder, he was looking at his head the whole time. Just as someone who was slightly hot headed as a youngster myself, I can understand the rush of blood to the head after the same player holding him twice, impeding him (even though the whistle had already gone this time), would result in a 'get the fuck off me' push. I'm not going to judge him too hard, as frustrating as it is.

I'm sorry, like. But if a guy is illegally pulling your shirt, why can't you push him off you? Again, probably in the face is a bit much.

Dumb as fuck and soft as shit. But the guy held his arm to bring him down a minute earlier then has a full handful of his shirt when Gordon pushes him. If it's illegal to hold, it should be legal to push the cunt off you... though probably not in the head.
  8. Masterclass on how to ruin a game.
  9. This cunt ref shouldn't be allowed to leave the stadium with all his teeth still in his mouth. That's bent as fuck.
  10. Need to put one on these cunts to force the ref to start pulling cards, otherwise they're going to get away with this niggly shit all game.
  11. Only concern is we're a bit lightweight and lacking aggression (other than Bruno) with that CM 3. Not watched much of Forrest this season but can't imagine they're playing intricate football through the middle of the pitch so hopefully shouldn't be an issue this game.
  12. There's conflicting reports. Some said £2m initially, then I think in December there was some noise about £5m and the lower figure being used by Man Utd sources for a PR win. The £4.1m figure indicates to me that it doesn't include the comp Man Utd paid to us. He had 18 months gardening leave at Newcastle, so presumably a 18 month notice period, and an annual salary of £1.5m. Assuming similar structure at Man Utd that would put his total cost at: £0.75m 6 months base salary £2.25m PILON £0.40m E'er NI =£3.4m total cost to Man Utd excluding comp to Newcastle I would assume he received a significant pay rise when moving to Man Utd to bridge the gap to £4.1m. Of course there could've been a negotiated settlement to allow him to return to work earlier for a smaller notice period pay off but I doubt he's in any rush to get another job. The Daily Mail reporter claiming his sources say it includes the comp paid to Newcastle only appears to report on Man Utd, so his sources would be questionable at best given the £2m vs. £5m ambiguity. The truth is that none of us really know. It's guesswork at best and sources on both sides are dodgy due to how publicly it played out.

Especially with the clubs he mentioned Man Utd - Owen was a free transfer, Dubravka was a loan. Must be on about Andy Cole in 1995? Real Madrid - Woodgate in 2003? Man City - Given in 2009?
  14. Christ. They're really waiting for charges to stop playing Partey after the police handed over the files to the CPS earlier this week?
  15. Balding cunt ref neds to shave his head like the rest of the follically challenged pricks.
  16. The handball rules, at least for when your hands are by your side, are pretty clear now aren't they? Only handball if the same player scores directly after. Unless there's any other situations I'm missing?
  17. We never used to talk about minutes added on? If anything we talk about it less without 'Fergie time'.
  18. His left leg uses a normal running motion, never coming more than about 6 inches off the ground. His right leg comes up a foot and a half then back down on Schar, seemed pretty clear to me.
  19. Now playing the victim card? Can't take this guy seriously.
  20. Thought about actually typing a real response but I don't think I need to
  21. Ah I wasn't aware that he wasn't putting any more money in. Did do a quick search but couldn't find anything about it. The Glazer's must have diluted upon his initial $200m investment so would expect them to be open to discussions around it. However, if they keep just spunking the investment up the wall, diluting the Glazer's holding whilst the market cap doesn't show any improvement then I'd imagine they'd put an end to it sooner or later either way

Personally, I'm not going to blame him for cocking up a chance he created entirely himself by chasing down a lost ball.
  23. Looking at their latest accounts, it appears that Ratcliffe's investment was issuance of new shares as opposed to a shareholder loan. They can continue to pump in additional cash as equity without incurring any additional interest costs - as long as the Glazer's are happy to continue diluting at least. Their main issue on FFP is that they actually do pay commercial interest rates on their bank loans which hits their bottom line.

    Marc Guehi

On here that makes sense, but was browsing the BBC Sports page earlier and it had a headline about Guehi and Palace but nothing about the other guy.
