Roughly. But the poster stated “100-200k” without giving the currency- I presumed it was in £ given that’s what we use.
-
Yep, shame he chose them and not us. Going to be class if he continues the same way.

https://salarysport.com/football/premier-league/newcastle-united-f.c./ £74k p/w according to this. Never heard of it before though, so don’t know how reliable it is, other than I’d heard Shelvey is on circa £70k which is what it says. Doubt there’s any way Almiron’s north of £100k.

Emery was PIFs choice, whereas I think Staveley and Reuben wanted Howe? I think it was much of a muchness and neither was a ‘preferred choice’ per se, in all honesty- merely one got approached before the other because PIF probably didn’t know much about Howe.

Lingaard, Nat Phillips, Barkley, Tarkowski, Trippier and Winks have all been named in various sources today as our targets. Be happy with all of those, although I think a strong and mobile DM would be needed also.

Not that he’s in the list, but that he’s 19th ahead of Martinez, Fernandes, Foden, Kane, Dias, Pedri etc. Yes, he’s been part of a championship winning squad, but he’s been pretty anonymous imo compared to his colleagues.

never mind the Messi/Lewandowski debate…how the fuck has Mount come 19th?! 1 - Lionel Messi 2 - Robert Lewandowski 3 - Jorginho 4 - Karim Benzema 5 - N'Golo Kante 6 - Cristiano Ronaldo 7 - Mohamed Salah 8 - Kevin De Bruyne 9 - Kylian Mbappe 10 - Gianluigi Donnarumma 11 - Erling Haaland 12 - Romelu Lukaku 13 - Giorgio Chiellini 14 - Leonardo Bonucci 15 - Raheem Sterling 16 - Neymar 17 - Luis Suarez 18 - Simon Kjaer 19 - Mason Mount 20 - Riyad Mahrez 21 - Lautaro Martinez = Bruno Fernandes 23 - Harry Kane 24 - Pedri 25 - Phil Foden 26 - Gerard Moreno = Nicolo Barella = Ruben Dias 29 - Luka Modric = Cesar Azpilicueta

No days off? Must be ignoring the sports scientist…

Two from England. No limit on foreign loans.

A DoF would be there to implement our transfer strategy for the way the club wants to progress in the future. It’s not necessary to have one just to purchase players, as seen previously. This year is about survival, pure and simple, and once that is achieved, THEN a DoF can start to make plans for transfers to move us forward. I don’t understand why people are getting hung up that we won’t be able to make purchases just because this position hasn’t been filled yet?

3 months minimum apparently. Could be up to 9 months.

How do you know?

He’s employed by the club as both a Director and Global Ambassador. He has heavily influenced the employment of Moyes, Mourinho and Solsjkaer. “And it is understood that Pochettino is the preferred choice of former Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson to take over at Old Trafford. The 79-year-old retired from his post as manager after 27 years in charge back in 2013 but remains an influential part of decision-making at the club.” (From: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1525550/Man-Utd-Mauricio-Pochettino-new-manager-Sir-Alex-Ferguson-SNT/amp ) Just being around the club, stalking the corridors as he does, makes life difficult for anyone coming in- as an extreme example the case of OGS not wanting to take the managers car park space, because ‘The Boss’ was still there.

Not as gutted as the Steves though.

85 miles is a 5 minute walk…?!

Talking to Sky Sports, Bruce Jnr said: “Who knows? I think everyone knows he has a great relationship with the club. If they needed him, I’m sure he would be there to help. “I think they need to get a world-class, elite manager. If they can’t find someone at this present time, then I’m sure he would be up for it. “ what? He doesn’t think Daddy is world class or elite?!

It’s only English club loans that are limited (I think).

Lives there when he’s not in Portugal.

Johnson post match: “The money shot is when you can deliver that goal ball” lerl.

Legit in that it’s a ‘retro’ styled kit being currently sold. It’s not next years.
-
If we get relegated, then it’d be embarrassing for them sure…so why not spend money to try and not get relegated? Doesn’t make sense.
-
More than likely to be Poch in the summer, yes, but they’ve stated they’re looking to get an interim manager in until then.
