  1. Had to be, to leave Jordan in the morning without being caught.
  2. £££ and being influenced by what our DoF tells them about our ‘project’. Plus not all CL clubs are of the Bayern/Madrid level. It’s a perceived step up to Newcastle from some of the teams in that competition.

Serious? Fuck me. Shows how much I care. Although, what was the point of penalties then??
  5. In fairness, from what I read, Man City (Wilcox) didn’t do much wrong. The lad got injured (broken leg iirc) and got released - not because of the injury but because of the clubs thoughts on his ability. The lad then had a meeting with a psychologist who didn’t flag anything up. Two years later, he killed himself. Obvious travesty and more measures have now been put into place regarding letting young players go, but I don’t think it has any bearing on how Wilcox performs his role.

Out of the pizza cup 4-2 on pens.
  7. MANCHESTER UNITED PLAYERS NOT ON INTERNATIONAL DUTY: Goalkeepers: Lee Grant, Tom Heaton, Dean Henderson Defenders: Raphael Varane, Phil Jones, Alex Telles, Aaron Wan-Bissaka Midfielders: Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Amad Diallo, Nemanja Matic, Donny van de Beek Forwards: Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho players and staff are surprised at being given a week off… https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10179747/Manchester-United-players-staff-surprised-given-week-wake-derby-defeat.html
  8. It does if we’ve only got a finite amount to play with due to FFP/wages to turnover. Plus bringing someone in on that money, every fucker will be clamouring for a new exorbitant contract.
  9. And their hamstrings twitching.
  10. For the wages he’d want, I’d honestly prefer others- we could have two or three players instead of just the one. He’s on 400k a week at the moment!
  11. Me too. I took my grandad to that game- we only went to two games together, that one and one at St James’
  12. It’s just terminated as a director, but he’s still working at the club in his position.
  13. Bit hard to do if the player/agent is also trying to advertise himself, and play clubs against each other for a higher wage etc.

  15. Very happy if it’s Emanalo “On 8 July 2011, Chelsea appointed Emenalo as Technical Director of the club. He completely restructured the club's academy, scouting, loan and women's team setups, and is credited as a key figure behind the club's success having overseen the scouting and transfers of key players including Juan Mata, Thibaut Courtois, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, N'Golo Kanté, Eden Hazard, and Cesc Fàbregas.”

this. “The trials will take place at the home stadiums of Championship club Cardiff City, as well as four Premier League outfits – Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Tottenham. Which means that some Newcastle United fans can look forward to be safe standing at Chelsea (currently Saturday 12 March), Tottenham (currently Saturday 2 April) and Man City (currently Saturday 7 May). United having already played away at Man Utd this season.“
  18. We decided to purchase wheelie bins and paddling pools instead?
  19. It’s a jumble of him wanting Hughes in at Celtic, and then the delay for signing with us and people putting things together.
  20. Statistics are pointless- Solskjaer is now also responsible for 21% of all United's home defeats in the Premier League era (29 years is it?) despite also being the third best in their history.
  21. Legs have gone since we had him. He’s been worse than shite.
  22. Piss poor penalty too by Auba.
  23. Don’t know, but I’m sure PIF at least will have advisors (not on the club payroll) who would be telling them who’s available and what might be needed etc. I’m sure I saw a few weeks ago Nicklas Sule state MBS has personally been in touch to try and get him to join (not sure how that assists our impartial ownership claims though!).
  24. Just under 8 weeks until the window opens. We will be looking towards players out of contract in the summer, and those will have other suitors I’m sure. Even if we’re not offering contracts etc, I’d hope we are speaking to agents and seeing who is available and who would want to come. And if they want to come, what their demands will be so we can get things done early in January. Howe and the DoF can either accept or veto suggestions, or bring their own suggestions to the table, but at least we’ll be a little prepared and not fall behind other teams yet again, and wait until the last days in Jan.

Not announced anywhere I can find, but RTG states: “5623 + 1300 away, 6923 total” edit- apparently there was 7739 total.
