One who orders 16 quesadillas.

Lots of twitter talk about Overmars now. If he’s being considered, I’d really hope Ten Hag is too.
-
Long may Ole last…or at least give him until the summer before getting Brucie in (Bruce will need a break to relax and recuperate after all those constant early morning training sessions). Club legend and turned the place around.
-
Is Fati likely to sign a new contract? His is up this coming summer, no?
-
Wouldn’t be unhappy if he came with Ten Hag.
-
Ian Cathro. He’s at Spurs.

Nah, as with all walks of life, some people fit some spaces just fine, and don’t want to move positions or ‘rise through the ranks’. A decent coach doesn’t always make a good manager either. edit- for example that English guy who was a coach in Germany then came to the UK to manage and was poor- can’t remember his name.

No chance. Why be wasting time interviewing candidates if they even consider the possibility of giving it to Jones? Plus there’s zero evidence or even rumours that he even wants it.

Better than being sick in a fireplace, that’s for sure.
-
For the wages he’ll want, there’s undoubtedly much better value out there.
-
Why not? Out of contract, Barca needs the cash and get him off the payroll, needs a fresh start, reputation slightly burnt after the last few years which may put off other clubs, and we can offer him the wages he wants and hopefully the attacking football.

Paulo Sousa? Defensive midfielder who played with Juve and Inter (amongst others)
-
Oh, absolutely. But the clubs don’t hold ALL the power. And they (supposedly) have to abide by the rules.
-
Seems the delusion was true? We just got told the following morning.
-
Down to player power a lot of the time today. Look at Kane at Spurs. No one wants to keep an unhappy player knowing you could make good money, or keep an unhappy, potentially unproductive player

Dust worself down once more, Steve!
-
Yeah, I know that. But if he was there 14 years, maybe he just doesn’t have much connection with Portugal itself is all? My point was, just because he has a Portuguese passport doesn’t necessarily mean he has a home/ties there.
-
But…he’s a fan himself?

Thought he didn’t join Spurs because the new director of football wanted his own man?
-
Yeah…I think the next training session is scheduled for early December..
-
Think I read he was born in Mozambique and spent his first 14 years there? Being ‘Portuguese’ might just be a passport thing and he has no affiliation with the country other than that. Who knows? I presume he’ll still be living in Rome though, until he has cause to move again?

Sheer fear tinged with wide eyed jealousy ensures irrational decisions come to the fore. Clubs outside the ‘Big 6’ aren’t thinking straight at all with regards to their own futures. The ‘Big 6’ aren’t thinking straight to ensure they act legally. It’s a shambles and will come crashing down if we decide to pursue yet more legal action.
