  1. https://amp.bundesliga.com/en/bundesliga/news/lucien-favre-5-things-on-borussia-dortmund-s-new-coach-reus-balotelli-5165 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucien_Favre style of play in the wiki link sounds great.
  2. Would anyone take Hassenhuttl for a few years until we get established and can entice a CL winning manager?
  3. This. Also spent a boatload and failed to get a cohesive team. Tuchel turned up and turned it around immediately with the same players.
  4. I still think we’ll be back in for Jens Cajuste in January too. Young player, fairly cheap (12m?) with potential to either make it or be sold for further money. (Know that sounds very Ashley-esque, but I think some young players like this will come in to booster the squad, along with a few more experienced players).
  5. Keep him. We’ll take Pedri, Puig, Frankie DJ and Fati, please…

  7. I reckon Lucien Favre will be in with a good chance. Out of work, experienced CL manager, demanding, good man manager, eye for flair as well as solidity, and willingness to play young players, and I seem to recall his name mentioned over the last few years with regards the consortium.

    Sunderland

But…but…SunDELLand was gonna be the richest club, marra…?
  9. 12 months sooner, and Tuchel would’ve fitted perfectly. He won’t be leaving Chelsea any time soon though. Nagelsmann would’ve been a close second but he won’t be leaving Bayern either. Anyone know any up and coming young managers with similar abilities? What would people think about Southgate?
  10. Trippier and Lingaard would be attainable I think, and improve us no end. If we’re throwing money around, bid for Kalvin Philips whilst we’re at it. Then a couple of decent foreigners to both improve the team and get us noticed on the Continent, like Isak and Ginter. Or some of the current Barca youth products (Fati etc).
  11. Lolz. You pair are hilarious. No really. Quite the double act. Whilst true fans are patiently waiting for any news of the potential takeover, you pair of muppets are yet again raising the bar with your inane posts and jibes towards the fanbase of our club.
  12. Language, Joey. I think all of your posts are laughable, so I’m pretty ‘lightened’ already thanks.
  13. Can’t help yourself, can you. The actual thread title says to check the OP for updates.
  14. £65 for an adult shirt, £38 for shorts. Personalisation not available via online ordering.
  15. PIFs involvement has been mentioned this week by Stavelely?
  16. Think most would take Enrique Iglesias so long as Bruce fucked off.
  17. So you’re criticising their timing rather than their action? When other people are also writing letters to various parties and people this week, you choose to pick on NUST. Where is your condemnation of Chi, or Staveley? I can well imagine you criticising and scoffing had NUST written a letter after the Masters meeting as you ask, stating what the point was in acting by themselves. One day, if you keep practising hard, you may well be as intelligent and eloquent as your mate Fanny in your negativity. Today is not that day- stick to merely liking your mates posts instead.
  18. And? Why shouldn’t they? You seem to be criticising an organisation for doing what they can to add weight to our potential takeover? What do you think they should be doing right now? Nothing?
  19. So? Every little helps. Or would you rather be complaining that people and organisations aren’t doing anything?
  20. Maybe a few years ago, but since the ruling party banned overseas football investment pretty much, all the clubs owned by Chinese individuals have been trying desperately to peddle them. I’d reckon another USA group like Kenyon, if PIF were to fall through.
  21. Don’t know. Joeys post above explains it. Sounds like he engaged via private emails with the PL and they both came to the conclusion that they’d prefer him to stay on. For some reason.
  22. The issue is that 6m a year is still 6m that they shouldn’t be offering/paying, seeing as they have to save hundreds of millions off the wage bill. It’s a hell of a lot more than tying a youth player down for that position, which they should be doing whilst in the financial position they’re in.
  23. Isn’t it already established that it was down to lack of disclosure by Beloff? Then after it was noted and Utd objected, he offered to leave to the PL but they turned his offer down?
