  1. Have some dignity and don’t rape women… so much for leaving Man Utd to go to another top/CL club. sad end to an amazing career. He’ll now be seen as a level slightly below Messi forever though.
  2. Two own goals- what a twat.
  3. Honestly still think he’d be decent for us. He’s clearly gone to the first/only team that made an offer, and has suffered both with injuries as well as a manager who isn’t the greatest at using him.

Their hero Adam Johnson used to commit his underage sex acts behind a Chinese takeaway. Classy, as usual.
  5. Why not when they know they’ll always get the free kick?
  6. Why go for them when Bruce is available?
  7. Leicester and Brentford both winning.
  8. Not for a little while as we need to replace several first team ‘squad’ players first. I don’t think we’ll be buying tens of youth players to loan when we’ve still got Lewis, Dummett, Ritchie etc plying to get on the bench. Any youth players coming in will be close to first team action I think.
  9. “Made a hell of a proposal” according to the translation…?
  10. Guess this lot are to blame for throwing all the cash around- probably never had it so good at previous jobs! “Laurence Stewart arrived from AS Monaco as Technical Director, Joe Shields from Southampton as Co-Director of Recruitment and Talent and Paul Winstanley from Brighton as Director of Global Talent and Transfers” https://trainingground.guru/articles/bath-promoted-to-chelsea-director-of-football-development-and-operations
  11. Plus, wage wise, I think Kante is out of contract in the summer, and doubt they’ll make Zakaria a permanent addition.
  12. He was also head of recruitment for the Mackem academy whilst being coach at Stockton.
  13. Or, seeing as he’s 6 years younger, they have a succession policy? Or see him learning and developing alongside Rodri? Or even buying him for 10m now knowing they will be able to triple that price when they sell in a few years, like a lot of their younger player purchases? All possible and valid options.
  14. But he’s also integral to the Leicester team and they would lose massively by selling him this window without getting the most they can for him towards replacements. I reckon around £20m (18-22 kinda range).
  15. Not just loan fees, but a huge source of income is selling the young players that they’ve stockpiled and never played. We will start to do that too, I’m sure, as a source of income, as the club develops.
  16. Chelsea income 20/21 was nearly €500m. Ours was about 150m. You can spend according to what you bring in, which is why increased sponsorship and commercialisation is so crucial (as well as stadium expansion, to a degree).
  17. Seems disproportionately levered towards the top 6, who built their squads/infrastructure/club/sponsorships without having the constraints of FFP, yes. A myth though? No. Which is why we can’t splash the same money as Chelsea/Man City/Man Utd etc.
  18. Because we could attract better for the way we play and to fit into our team ethos?
  19. Good player, but don’t know if he’d fit our character criteria? Seems to go missing when up against it, and hides.
  20. Imagine that fat cunt stuffed and hung on your wall. Fucking hell. better be solid brick.
  21. He’ll soon come running back to the game when his Greggs shares start plummeting with lack of sales whilst he’s out of the country. Seriously though, I can’t see him retiring with such quietness- there’s bound to be some collusion with his media mates (hi, Luke!) to give a mournful send off to the greatest English manager ever, when he actually does decide to leave the game.
  22. Which is why a Kone type who is adept at both attacking and defending would be ideal.
  23. A DM would give more cover to the back four than a box to box Bruno. Whether we need that at the current time with our results to date is another thing.
