At 23 (24 in May), I’d think he’d like to go to a club that will provide him the chance to get some silverware. Dortmund is all well and good for development purposes, but he should be looking beyond that at his age imo.

We don’t understand- they only can’t abide the Saudis that part own Newcastle. All the others are ok, obviously. It’s the Newcastle Saudis that are bombing the kids and the ones that they fewm about. The ‘other’ Saudi Arabians can’t help being of that nationality, or being ruled over by the Newcastle Saudis, so they get a free ride on RTG. (P.S- Oh…but Newcastle fans are complicit in the war crimes, obviously.)

I wouldn’t say there are hundreds- since Trippiers case, there has been 40 E8 offences dealt with. The vast majority get a suspension if some sort (1-6 months) and a fine. Reading through some cases, it seems that the FA become aware due to the betting companies tipping them off about the individual player involved. Several players have bet similar amounts to Toney and got suspensions from a month to a few months.

He wasn’t technically playing for us at the time of the alleged first offence- he was at Scunthorpe, so I can’t see how much points a or possibly b can apply?

I personally don’t care what he’s done, unless he’s bet specifically on games that he’s had an influence on. However, I also think that even a quid at a time, that’s still worse than what Trippier did- it’s a more serious offence imo to gain personally from a breach of the rules that govern you, even though it could well be minuscule amounts. It’s been well publicised over the years that footballers aren’t allowed to bet, and he would know that.

Because at a base level, Trippier breached the regulations 4 times, and Toney has (potentially) breached 232 times? I’d presume that alone would warrant a higher punishment? Maybe?
