Hopefully we will be more adventurous against fulham tho and will play 4-4-2, and lets face it against fulham we will see a lot more of the ball than arsenal when we did have two up front...so hopefully we will create more...

Aye they do always seen to give us a good game at home like, but we seem much stronger in midfield and defence so im still hopefull... Im trying to avoid sounding positive for then to jinx things ...

Just seen our prem league fixtures over the next 2 months, i wud defo say all of them are definately winnable games. As long as pardaz manages to get a proper left back in and a striker before the window shuts, i can see us picking up a fair few points and remaining in the top half ....for then at least

I think their players are more famous than ours, so somehow they are better, it's a mistake we made in the past with the likes of Butt, Duff and Parker, who were all rank for us, but consistently considered far better players than they were, by ourselves (initially) and in the media (permanently). It doesn't make them good players though, Tiote and Cabaye (from what I've seen in 2 and a half games, and by all accounts) at least, are far superior to any of their midfielders, but they're not as famous in this country so aren't given as much credit. This doesn't bother me whatsoever, they will continue to do their talking on the pitch and winning matches against Sunderland, time after time. I'd take Sessegnon from them, and Gyan too, although I'd hope that we could sign a better striker than Gyan. Not sure I'd take any one else for the first team, probably Bardsley or O'Shea because they're versatile, but again I'd hope we'll sign someone better. I'd have a few of their players in the squad mind, as their first team is full of mediocre squad players. I hope they realise this eventually, for their own good. They are a bizarre set of fans though, so they probably won't. Cabaye was excellent yesterday IMO, considering it is only his 2nd game in england and in a local derby with a build up he probably hasnt experienced before in france. Couldn't disagree more. This saga is cringeworthy on so many levels: - why are we even looking at a league 1 goalkeeper aged 25 who has done nothing of note in his career other than having worked with Pardew and our goalkeeping coach before? - why are we offering a pittance, almost an insult? - why are we not willing to negotiate? - why, if we really rate him at just 100k and not a penny more, do we think he's good enough for the Premiership? - why are we publicly saying we are interested and have made a bid even though the bid was rejected "within minutes"? - why are we going ignoring the request of his current club to be silent about our interest even though our offer has been rebuffed and we have no interest in pursuing it further? - why have we offered our final offer straight away? - why are we even spending a minute of our technical team's time on the goalkeeper position, when there are so obviously much, much more pressing areas that need to be addressed asap? - why are we making it look like Pardew is completely out of the loop with regards to transfers? - why have we managed to make ourselves the footballing world's laughing stock again by officially being reported to the PL? If this shambles does not condone us expressing our discontent about the way the club is being run, I don't know what does.. So too sum up, we are basically a fuckin joke...?

I know febregas and nasri werent playing today, but we matched what was stil a very good arsenal team. A good solid point first game of the season. Hopefully we can get a LB in asap as raylor didnt look v comfortable at all, but apart from that, not bad at all...
