over -ran in midfield for how many games now? yet pardew still dont understand, our strikers arent providing any support for the midfield, Ba in a 4-4-1-1 , means we lose the ball all day long. whilst teams out number us. -

certainly make more sense putting santon in midfield than raylor, the only reason raylor gets the gig at the wings is because pards cant f***ing get away from his direct play and favours raylors crossing. that is it. we all know santon is first and formost a winger by trade and it wasnt that long ago he was converted to a defender at inter. if anyone is to take a man on, out on the right wing, out of , raylor, potatohead, santon, it would be santon. ofcourse we got the option of hatem, but atleast santon would provide that extra workrate and tackling if pards is worry about that turd mr longball simpson being exposed.

I think you'll find most newcastle fans think Milner is still very average and happy we sold him still and Parker is vastly overrated by the media. really? i remember many were gutted especially me when parker got sold, he was our best player under souness but then again thats not saying too much judging by how shit the rest were playing under the twat. under Rodent, parker was used as an attacking midfielder in a 4-4-2 while emre next to him was playing more like a holding midfielder, thats right, thats how incompetent Roeder was, he got that completely the other way round. under fat sam, he simply gave up on the lad and said oh parker can't handle the pressure in front of this big crowd.

nice typical troll post from madras, like it

Of course Bellamy was a risk, he was a player who had one season in the Premiership with relegated Coventry and had scored 6 league goals, I thought Bobby had gone mad when we signed him. when i first heard the deal was done, i thought it was an excellent deal, at the time ive seen bellamy play on the wings before and thought he would be perfect for us, he could play as a forward or on either side of the wings, his pace was incredible just what we needed. one thing did surprise me , he scored alot more goals than i expected of him.

get rid, sack the useless kid. if we cant cancel the contract, make him clean the boots of the youth acadamy players. and make him clean grafitti and paint sports direct arena over them.

Not as much as he rated Jeffers. And I'm sorry, it's nonsense to say that we only got Ba as he was free (or 2m fees etc). The club/Pardew knew his qualities enough to take a (still fairly expensive) risk on him, one which has so far paid off. People will always bring up the Jeffers or Cort deals as a way to compare Bobby unfavourably, but it's missing the point really. He had a football philosophy which meant he rated talent over work rate as we saw with Robert. We saw it with his insistence on signing Bellamy despite all the risk and the doubters. And we saw it when he said loud and clear that Ryan Taylor and Kevin Nolan were no replacement for the likes of N'Zogbia and Given. Like I said, this player or that player taken in isolation means nothing. It's the football philosophy that matters and SBR's was second to none and light years ahead of Pardew. fact was Bobby brought loads of duds, way more than good players. i for one is glad we got rid of Zogbia and failed to sign him back. The kid is a just whiny little shit, got great talent but his bad attitude far out weighs his skills. craig bellamy was never really a risk, he got a loud mouth but on the pitch on the training ground he always gave 100 percent and works his socks off, its no surprised we only had problems with him when souness was managing.

yeah ok pards, blame your results on not having older players, jesus how desperate can he be.

i have no problems with him making negative subs, that fact was, he never made any subs at all until it was too late. at half time I personally would have brought an extra midfielder on as Ba simply did fuck all to help out our midfield as it was complete over-ran by Wolves. Besides we needing another body in there to make up for the complete lack of movement in midfield it was fucking horrible. managers like Mourinho had like the biggest balls ever even with his huge ego he had no problems with acknowledging his own mistake and make subs in the first half to sort things out. Pardew is either stupid or too arrogant to make changes, we seen it at fulham how we threw it away, seen it vs swansea, wBA, norwich, when we simply werent effective yet he just doesnt react, make the change you silver haired twat, really im starting to doubt whether he's even a decent manager.
-
he's a frustrating manager, that guy from espn has got it right, he said when pardew was at west ham they did not play attractive football , it was direct, hoof long ball, he said that about everyone of pardews teams play the exact same way. he also said Alan Pardew was a con man, the type that would tell you his teams play attractive football but in actual fact its just direct football. And also called Pardew an Egomaniac. skip forward to 12:50 http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/video_audio/61504.html?genre=6;sport=3

come on in many ways pardew cant win, we moan about potatohead so he's been dropped, we moan about hba not getting chances, when he plays he's been shit. we play virtually the same side bar shola vs man utd and beat them 3-0. i don't know if the players are told to sit deep and not push forward or they were simply lethargic and didnt want to the business today. The truth is, we were shyte! fucking horrible.
-
Pretty much spot on. i don't see Ba as a forward that can play deep, infact im not sure if Cisse and Ba compliment each other at all. then again you spend 8-10 million on a striker which is alot considering our budget, what choice you got? have to play both right?
-
the sad thing is he's our best right back, i know many wont admit it here but he is. who else we got? dont say santon because he thinks he's a winger. Perch, errr no thanks. anyway i just trolled simpson on twitter. telling him he's been known to us fans as danny 'longball' simpson for a long while now. i am no doubt somewhere in amongst that 50 thousand tweets of the similar ilk he just received.

I wasn't trying to score points, I couldn't give a f*** about that stuff. I still maintain that our performance in the first half was absolutely fine. Not ideal obviously, because in utopia we would just turn on the style and murder every 'inferior footballing side' that we play. But OK considering the circumstances. It was the second half that let us down. yep despite us score twice, our second half performance actually included some urgency regardless of us conceding two sloppy stinking goals.
-
we did not go in at half time comfortable, anyone can tell we were in for a tough time when the second half whistle will blow, because we know pardew hardly ever make changes at halftime. we were not comfortable straight after the first 20 mins, we slow, lack of urgency lack of belief lack of energy. we were never comfortable apart from the first 20 mins
-
lots of good accessment there son. playing long ball to a man that nods onto nobody. no movement from midfield to help the attack , vice versa no movement from attack to help the midfield when we got over-ran. so much was wrong, and i prefer to call him Danny 'longball' simpson, the man that cant pass the ball longer than ten yards on the ground.

ive read an alarming article a few months ago which included an interview with Carver, that during a week in preparation for a weekend game. Pardew spends monday to wednesday on defence and on how to nullify the opposition, on thursday and friday the team is handed over to Carver for plan on Attack. It's alarming could the blame be put on Carver on why the f*** we always play longball or on todays aspect, the blame on Pards on how the f*** we defending so bad and why cant a manager do both , handle attack and defence.
