What do you mean trying to do too much? Holding on to the ball too long silly attempts on dribbling, all that twisting and turning bullshit and trying to pick out cutting edge passes. His role is to get the ball and then get rid of it, preferably a simple short ball to his nearest team mate.

He was very good out wide, a player that can run and twist and turn a fullback, other than hba no one else can do that for us. When he was moved to the centre of attack he looked toothless. Definitely keep him outwide for now. I think he has abit of Suarez about him, his movement and the way he harries about the pitch, but obviously his finishing is incomparable. If he can prove his finishing he could be be a very nice option up top.

It worries me that we simply dont create enough inside the box, and no, swinging aimless crosses over and over dont count. People even talk about how poor our set pieces are which baffles me. Yes we are poor at it but we should not be relying on set plays to get results . What about getting the basics right first, like creating chances from open play. remember when we were little kids on the school pitch imagine if a teacher told you, "listen boy our biggest chance of scoring is from corners and freekicks". Boy is a bottler in the same mould as Obertan, completely terrified of contact, but he has way more quality and composure on the ball when given the luxury of time and space. He would be your typical arsenal player, good technical qualities, zero aggression zero tenacity poor work rate. Still have some hope for the boy , but he really needs to ramp up his energy at least, to even survive in the premiership.
