I've always said people like Carver and such are just hangers on, from the dark ages, much like Terry Mcdermott, no matter what they always worm their way back into the club, i mean what do these people do apart from placing cones out on the training field and whilst they not doing that they are tip toeing around the place being the eyes and ears of the manager, listening-in on players conversations and reporting back on who said this and that and who slagged off the gaffer. Having said all this right now the biggest problem we have is the manager.

Sounds crazy but I'd take mark Hughes lol
-
Surprised he risked Marveaux, what does Amalfitano have to do to get a bit of play time.
-
Qpr would be perfect for him they need defenders, but I don't see us entertaining the idea of losing any of our own defenders in jan. I agree too, keep him til end of season and then say good bye.
-
Sad bitter people here hoping he will do bad at chelski. Grow up lads. I won't be cheering him on in a blue shirt but it makes no difference to me how well or badly he plays for Chelsea.

Tiote needs to stop worrying about bookings, just tackle and take whatever comes, it's his natural game. It's not just that, biggest worry is his decision making , not knowing when to get rid of the ball and when he does get rid it never reaches a team mate. His overall play has been shocking compared to the standards of last season, I'm convinced his head has been turned by some whispers from his agent and such.

Mediocre would be, say, putting the right players in the right positions but doing nothing especially clever. Our starting line-up would be best described as "tactical suicide". Almost everyone on here could see that at 19:01 when the teamsheet was announced and we saw the semicolons delineating GK;Defence;Midfield;Strikers that showed us that Cisse was in midfield and Shola f***ing Ameobi was up front. Yeh but when I saw the team sheet I think me and alot people was convinced it would be Shola and Cisse upfront and then Marv tiote Anita obertan Yet how did Pardew get the idea it was wise to put Cisse on the wing again and again and again lol He had the chance of obertan Cisse and Marv as front three. Or Cisse upfront on his own with obertan and Marv out wide in midfield, or like I said Cisse and Shola up top, yet Pardew chooses the least logical choice of line up hahahhaa lol Pardew is starting to make me laugh so much with his ineptitude it would be funny if he didnt actually managed us.

Ok... Tactical Ineptitude, Idiocracy.

Forgot the result. To sum up Alan Pardew's performance last night. = Tactical Mediocrety

what? Makes me laugh with bemusement, even with Ba gone Pardew still sticks with his policy of "If I don't play 4-4-2 im going to stick a striker out on the wing" The man has proven not only tactically inept, but mentally low on I.Q. I'd love to see the man take an I.Q test as he's very much a stats man, because I can't see the results being very high.
-
Don't know why you think that's funny. We need as much distant as we can from clubs like QPR.
-
I don't understand why he took Obertan off unless he was injured.
-
Without the limited Jonas covering this boy's backside, he looks very ordinary.
-
Good luck to the lad I say, he owes us nothing, we were not the only club lining up for him when he was available, if we didn't sign him another club would had gave him the platform. Just hope we bring in a decent forward in place. Onwards and upwards lads.

Cant wait to get rid of the player scoring 80% of our goals myself either. Are you suggesting Ba is some sort of Darren Bent, a tap in striker that relies on an entire squad having to be built around him, usurping goals from the entire team? If so Im not having it. Its total bollocks. If anything Ba is rather a poor mans Zlatan, a total striker able to furfill a host of different roles depending on whats required of him. Can hold up the ball, shoot, tap in, hold up defenders and more. I hope for our sake our team will start to perform better and by all means if it was Ba causing us to play s**** and just hoof it to him - happy days. I doubt it though, he has become a scapegoat for those unable to cope with him leaving us without flinging mud. Ba cannot hold up the ball man, no more than Darren bent. But unlike lazy Bent , Ba works hard and run about for the team. He's nothing like zlatan apart from being tall and being a striker, nowhere near as lazy as him either. Completely different skill sets they have.

Yeh still in a way Liverpool has partly played a role in us losing Ba to Chelsea, they are forcing through the signing of Sturridge thus leading Chelsea to secure a back up striker that is Demba.
-
Hmmm no

"Not yet" Meaning, "come on, come and get me Chelsea"

I don't know about that man, in his time here last season it looked as though he could do pretty much everything. He's a finisher first and foremost, but he has more to his game than that. Agree Rev Ba attributes Good strike Good in the air Holds it up well Cisse attributes 2 footed Great finisher Instinctive Quick Cisse is the better player Don't agree with that. Ba's strength has always been off the ball, making great intelligent runs, timing his runs to a tee thus getting on the end of things , i.e scoring , finishing, and he's good in the air. On the ball however is another story, bad decision making, taking far too long to decide what to do with the ball in procession, can't hold the ball up, and basically doing his usually trying to spinoff his marker run towards goal but 95 percent of the time losing the ball or gets fouled or he falls over. I disagree, he was immense at Arsenal holding the ball up, winning it, shielding it, using quick feet and close control. He was the same away to Liverpool too. He can look clumsy and play in that style but overall his general on the ball game is decent as is his all-round game. I think his biggest weakness is his vision and passing, he can be very sloppy when trying to play the ball and when it comes to spotting others' runs or a pass, he struggles at times. Exactly you inadvertently agreed with me, there's no point in him holding up the ball he hasn't got a clue what to do with it afterwards, poor vision and passing like you said. Usual foot over the ball thing that Jonas also does all the time, waste of time. If that counts as holding up the ball well I'd rather not have that.

To emphasise that more, he is a good asset defending corners most often running back to do some donkey work heading balls out which not all strikers does. He works hard for the team when it comes to effort and graft. Lets see, bettering his career, pay rise, London, a manager that isn't Pardew, genuine chance of champs league football next season, huge sign on fee, bigger club, better players, a manager that actually won things, not far from title challenge . List goes on Can we blame him? No. Don't forget lesser chance of first team football. It isn't a done deal yet. Fairly sure Ba will want first team football as a stipulation in his contract and also to be played centrally. Where that leaves Roman's plaything Torres , Lord knows. Yeh I still got a feeling he will stay until the summer, when we can't agree a suitable contract and he will be sold then. Because I'm not sure what the Chelsea's medical team is going make of his knee condition, and how Ba's agent is going to complicate things.
