  1. Eric Dier will make this a good game! lol
  2. Finally a decent shot. Probably best we will get
  3. There should be a quality bar, disqualify both teams and give Ajax the trophy
  4. Dunno where in the world you are watching but the BtSport stream is perfect https://sport.bt.com/final Thanks, assumed they would have that player behind their paywall, still if you do put it for free on youtube lol
  5. the stream is garbage cos they are filming at 25fps and streaming at 30fps so every 5th frame gets sent twice, which even a 12 year old twitch streamer twat can work out not to do
  6. I agree he didn't mean to handle the ball. The interpretation of 'deliberate' that the referees use is not that the person deliberately blocks it but that the arm is somewhere it isn't normally like down by the sides, and yes when jumping this gets difficult, then it is called deliberate. Yes this is a ridiculously ambiguous wording but the idea that the players have to intentionally be trying to block the ball is absolutely not how referees police the game and taht should be clear. Most hadnball offences are clearly not someone being that intentional about it jsut arm in a silly place.
  7. Shouldn't have been pointing though, the natural position of your arms is by your side not pointing in the air Of course you can point, every player does it all the time there's no law saying you can't And he was pointing in the air Tht's why the referee give it, natural position my arse I edited sorry, he wasn't pointing in the air, he was pointing to cover the run, something every defender does and strikers do when they want a ball into a certain area. He got unlucky, unnatural position my arse What do you think unnatural position means? By your definition catching the ball with your hands isn't unnatural because he is doing it deliberately and meant to do it?
  8. Embarrassing from Trippier, should be ashamed of himself
  9. When the ref has missed something. Ref saw that and made a call and I was annoyed they even bothered to refer it tbh
  10. Why does it matter where it hits first, if anything gave him mroe time to get his arm out the way???
  11. if you're pointing like sissoko was and the striker does that, i have absolutely no problem with giving a pen that. there's no way that would be a high percentage play and defenders shouldn't be waving their arms around in teh box when expecting a cross or shot in. I udnerstand while jumping and that is where most the problems come but sissoko wasn't jumping.
  12. Tbh I completely agree, ref should have discretion to give indirect free kick or something. Albeit that would lead to worse controversy perhaps
  13. yes but the idiots on var should be able to see its in no way intentional which last time I checked was still in the laws of the game 'deliberate' is a horrendous grey area that most refs (I think from being told to) interpret as hand being in an unattural position, which sissokos was. Glad they're removing that word as refs cant read minds.
  14. Yeah he was unlucky and arguably a penalty is way too harsh a punishment for that but that's a different argument
  15. I'm sorry you give referees no chance when a player handles a ball in an unnatural position in the box and still think it shouldn't be a pen.
  16. Anyone elses youtube (legal) stream absolute garbage?
  17. All ties in with my theory that they think from the champions league so far that the team that concedes first wins
  18. On the contrary that makes it more of a pen for me, he had more time to get hand out the way than if it went straight to arm. It was still up in air.
  19. Am I alone in thinking it is absolutely a pen? His arms are in a ridiculous position, the ball hit it.
  20. Considering the semi finals not sure not a spurs ploy, the come back always wins
  21. Dele Ali to get a red card 10 minutes in for a reckless tackle and spurs to shut up shop, 0-0 to penalties I predict
  22. Lloris perfectly capable of doing a Karius tbh
  23. I would have a lot of sympathy for thomas cook etc if it werent for the massive price gouging that all the airlines took part in. I know they run on tight margins so got to take a payday when it comes but it really should be stopped.
  24. May be gigs but saw this in the guardian's coverage of the game today
