Real seem totally unable to impose themselves, do they need some better attacking midfielders or is that just tactics? I've heard Kaka has been pretty decent whenever he's been seen. The passing is slack and whenever Pepe gets the ball he just hoofs it. Don't mind the counter attacking style but when you rely on Ronaldo in this form to get ball up the pitch you need a plan B.

That said, I'm fairly sure Ramos tries to cynically hack down his alarm clock when he gets up in the morning, before rolling around in bed due to catching the edge of the bedside table.

Ramos lucky there. Mourinho gets his teams tackling so bad at times.

IMO if we want to balance team for playing on multiple fronts we simply can't get in a big fuss over not being able to field all out best players at the same time. The only issue is if the players ego can survive it, and you fight that with exactly the kind of team ethos Pardew has got going.

He would start plenty...in Europa league... If we're playing 4-3-3 he would join rotation for left wing, if we try and do better at cups he would get plenty of time. For strongest starting 11 not sure, appealing him on left, ben arfa right and cisse up middle (jonas cabaye and tiote in the middle) but harsh on Ba.

We need at least 3 just for europa league tbh. If Guthrie goes in midfield he needs to be replaced too. I'd be happy with hoilett for backup creative player.
