I think we need to slow the game down, playing at pace is suiting Liverpool fine, we lose the ball and they just pass it out wide as soon as possible and race at our fullbacks. Simpson is doing alright but Obertan keeps giving away the ball. If we can keep the ball, we can get our players forward a bit and work the ball into their half and frustrate them. We just seem to panic and give away possession so easily.

Ended a little better. Santon on for Ryan Taylor ASAP and HBA on for Vuckic, whom is maybe a little out of his depth but isn't really in the position to do much. Jonas having a shocker, Obertan usual crap, but I think Cabaye and Tiote are doing alright, we're beeing ripped to shreds down flanks though. Dreadful stuff, why are we playing such poor footy? When Ba gets injured then, what's the plan?

I'm pondering, considering Ba's continuing brilliance, are we essentially shopping for cover? If the prefered ultimate line up is Ba ahead of Ben Arfa, a new striker is likely to get benched. Now don't get me wrong, I think we absolutely need that striker cover, we're thin up front, but do we want a striker who would work well with Ba or Ben Arfa? Or a lone striker? We'd be kidding ourselves we'd be able to get anyone who'd score as prolifically as Ba.
