Yeah your right, anything can indeed happen and probably will.... the answer they can do it but will they? its a tough ask imo. About Germany and Holland struggling defensively against Russia's attacking quality..... while thats true what will probably is what Spain did to Russia in Euro 2008 is just keep the ball and thats what i expect Holland and Germany to do if it comes to that.

Aye, they're the strongest team in group A. Don't think they have enough to challenge the big 3/4 though. They seemed to go missing for prolonged periods when their tempo and cohesion dropped off, which a big 3/4 team would take advantage. Plus I don't think their fluid pressing system will work against the 'big 3/4', but that might not be how they'd approach such a game. Think they'll make the semis at least. Got 1 point mind you only had one player playing hopefully should pick up over coming days as i mainly have French, Dutch, Italian and Spanish players.

Depends if he can play football, which he can't.. Edit: just looked at an @j@x forum and they seem to rate him quite highly. Maybe my hatred for them has clouded my judgement somewhat, and I barely watch Eredivisie anyway. Any transfer rumour involving him has not reached their shores btw. He's very very good for what i have seen......( most dutch fans i have asked seem to rate him extremely highly aswell) Hopefully if he is being bought to go alongside Tiote to allow Cabaye more freedom but if not i would be content also as from what i have seen i reckon he has the ability to be better than Tiote over next couple of years.

Alright i get it now.... 15 transfers during the group stage and 10 transfers in the KO stage and unlimited transfers in between when the group stage ends and KO stage starts. Not as bad as i thought, thought you had 25 transfers a match

Russian's look good but iam going to refrain from over them just yet they are clearly a few levels above anyone in this group but once they get to the quarters its quite frankly they will face Germany or Holland... That will be the real test for them ( stating the obvious really but still)

This is already a million times better than WC..... mainly because all the teams know they are shit defensively and not scared to attack. Might not be great tactically as far as the coaches are concerned but it makes for good viewing, hoping it continues like this. Also i havent seen Arshavin play like this since Euro 2008
